New Merchandise Line Released for K/DA ALL OUT

During this year’s League of Legends World Championship, the virtual K-pop group known as K/DA has made a comeback, much to the fans’ glee. Unlike the past years when K/DA only released singles, the group released a whole EP called ALL OUT this year, which contains five tracks.

To celebrate the EP’s launch, Riot Games has released a new merchandise line for the virtual group. The new League of Legends collection is currently available on the True Damage website, and it consists of apparel that is priced between $35-$65.

What makes these t-shirts and hoodies truly appealing to the fans is the fact that each has the images and signatures of the band members. Most of the hoodies, which come in different colors, are priced at $65.

However, there’s one white hoodie that’s only priced at $48, and the signatures of the different band members are emblazoned on the very front. It may have a simple design, but it looks pretty cool nonetheless.

The least expensive clothing items in the collection are t-shirts, and each one features a different member such as Ahri, Kai’Sa, and Akali.

So far, K/DA has had two augmented reality performances during the 2018 and 2020 World Championships, respectively.

Some fans didn’t like how the 2020 performance turned out though, saying that it was ruined by the bad lighting and the sub-par models. However, these negative comments haven’t demoralized the team over at Riot Games and they will continue to produce music for K/DA.

As a matter of fact, the virtual group plans on moving away from K-pop and towards “a more global pop sound” in their future songs.

Asides from this new K/DA merchandise line, Riot Games has previously collaborated with Nike and AAPE to launch two other collections inspired by League of Legends. In turn, the Prestige Edition skin of True Damage Yasuo was inspired by the AAPE collection.

These partnerships were made in order to coincide with the World Championship this year. (The Korean team, DAMWON Gaming, won the tournament this year.)

Last month, Riot Games officially released Seraphine in League of Legends’ roster of playable characters. Consequently, Seraphine being released in the game also meant her addition to K/DA, which already had existing members in the form of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa.

That being said, the character didn’t receive the kind of reception that Riot Games probably wanted nor expected. Since Seraphine’s release, there have been various controversies and issues centered around her.

For instance, some dedicated fans have claimed that her kit is unoriginal, while others criticized Riot for Seraphine’s social media posts, saying that the company appropriates mental illness for commercial use.

In addition, there was one allegation that the champion was based on a real person without that person’s consent. Needless to say, Seraphine’s launch has been somewhat turbulent.

In any case, all five tracks from K/DA’s ALL OUT EP is currently available on major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. It consists of the usual artists that voice the members, namely Jaira Burns, Miyeon and Soyeon from (G)I-DLE, as well as Madison Beer.

Fall Guys may not be as popular on streaming platforms as it was when it was initially launched, but it is still popular within the video game community in general. As a matter of fact, the platformer battle royale still receives regular updates that further improve its gameplay.

While Fall Guys Season 2 introduced new stages such as the new Knight Fever level, players still seemed more drawn to the original stages rather than the new additions. And even though it’s great that there’s a wide array of skins to choose from, cosmetics aren’t the main reason why fans started playing the game in the first place.

As such, there’s a huge responsibility on the shoulders of the upcoming Season 3 to get the ball rolling once more and to revitalize the fans’ love for Fall Guys. Fortunately, Mediatonic says that it has redirected its focus to work on that.

According to Mediatonic, the team working on Fall Guys has plans to make the third season much bigger than the second one, especially the levels. We don’t doubt their efforts though, since there’s been a bunch of new developers working on the game.

As of this moment, Mediatonic hasn’t revealed anything as to when Season 3 will go live, what the theme will be, or if there will be one to begin with. However, the quirky developers have shared a little sneak peek on the official Fall Guys Twitter account. (Emphasis on the “sneak peek.”)

As you can see, it’s kind of difficult to tell what’s going on or what the photo is supposed to show. Although, a few things stand out and that’s what we’re going to discuss here. Following the usual Fall Guys color scheme, we can see a lot of purples and pinks in the screenshot.

There’s some kind of circular thing hovering above what looks to be a pink cube. The Fall Guys devs once proudly said that fans can look forward to all kinds of new levels in the third season that will spice up their gameplay.

As such, we can imagine that by making use of wheels or vehicles in Season 3, Mediatonic will be able to do some creative new levels. That being said, it’s not a guarantee that the addition of new levels will bring back the hype or increase the fanbase of Fall Guys.

After all, Among Us has arguably replaced Fall Guys when it comes to streaming for many gamers on the internet. Besides, the Fall Guys community is no longer as active as it used to be.

Leakers Share Genshin Impact Ganyu Skills

At this point, most people in the video game community have probably heard about or at least tried playing Genshin Impact. Created by the Chinese developer miHoYo, Genshin Impact is a free-to-play title that initially attracted many people for its similarities to Breath of the Wild.

After an incredibly successful global launch a few months ago, the MMORPG recently released its very first major patch with Update 1.1. Thanks to this update that many have been anticipating, players from all over the globe have been enjoying new content as well as playable characters.

However, some are looking forward to the future, as other new characters will be introduced as well. Tartaglia, Diona, and Ningguang were featured in Update 1.1’s special banner, but the icy Ganyu is expected to release in a later update as well.

Unsurprisingly, Reddit, as well as other websites such as the Chinese streaming platform known as Bilibili, have been sharing videos and screenshots taken from Genshin Impact’s closed beta test or CBT.

These leaks mostly feature Ganyu, the Adepti-Human hybrid. Fans speculate that Ganyu will be introduced into the game some time in mid-to-late December. Thanks to the recent leaks though, excited fans now have a better idea of the character’s skills and abilities.

Due to Ganyu’s similarities with Amber, fans are calling her the “Cryo Amber.” For those unfamiliar, Amber is one of the first playable characters you’ll get for free in Genshin Impact. While she also uses a bow and arrow like Ganyu, she’s a Pyro Vision character instead. In other words, she has the fire element while Ganyu has the opposite — ice.

As a Pyro archer, Amber has explosive skills and abilities along with a “rain from above” Elemental Burst. An Elemental Burst is Genshin Impact’s version of an “ultimate” ability. On the other hand, Ganyu’s Elemental Skill is currently called “Trail of the Qilin.”

When it’s used, Ganyu leaves behind an “Ice Lotus” as she dashes backward. This lotus will distract the enemies’ attention, causing them to attack it instead of Ganyu herself. Plus, its endurance is based on the character’s Max HP.

Once its duration has been reached or has been thoroughly destroyed by the attackers, the Ice Lotus will bloom, which will deal powerful area-of-effect Cryo damage. This kind of taunt is similar to Amber’s Baron Bunny, wherein Amber also throws out a distraction that will eventually deal AoE damage. Although in her case, her Baron Bunny deals explosive fire damage.

Ganyu’s Elemental Burst is called “Celestial Shower.” It’s a pretty interesting play on the character’s name which can be translated to “sweet rain.” According to the leaked skillset, Ganyu will create an “Ice Soul Gem,” and this gem will “rain down ice shards” on its enemies, causing Cryo damage.

While the skill’s description is somewhat similar to that of Geo mage Ningguang, Celestial Shower, in general, is pretty similar to Amber’s Elemental Burst when used.

That being said, there are some players that are disappointed by how Ganyu is too similar to Amber, who happens to be one of the least liked playable characters in Genshin Impact. Although, fans should keep in mind that the current information we have on Ganyu are only leaks from the game’s beta.

As such, miHoYo might still make some changes to her character as well as to her skills before officially releasing her.

Sony Provides Quick Fix for PlayStation 5 “Queued For Download” Bug

Sony has released an update for a major PlayStation 5 bug that forces games to be queued for download in eternity. The bug was discovered a few days ago following the next-gen console’s successful launch, which saw the system so high in demand that it frequently crashed online seller websites.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War fans got a glimpse of some of the new content that will be coming to the game as part of its first season. Photos leaked on the internet showcasing new cosmetic assets that will become available once the first season kicks off on December 10.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has just been out for only a week but it appears that developer Treyarch Studios is still busy working on the game now as it was in development. The game’s first weapon update was just released yesterday, a mere five days after release, and it is anticipated that more will be coming soon as the development team looks to balance and fix the bugs inside the new game. However, as Treyarch continues to live in the moment in order to perfect their latest game, some players are already looking forward ahead of Season 1.

Reputable gaming sites report that dataminers managed to discover photos of several cosmetics coming to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 1. Watches, skin variants of main characters, and keychains were just some of the items represented in the leaked images shared on Twitter by TailsDolls553. Treyarch has yet to verify these photos if they will indeed be part of the first season rewards for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War or if they will emerge further down the line.

Though most of these images are still viewable online, some were removed which were mostly focused around the game’s interpretation of the franchise classic Nuketown. The map intro and outro, load screen, and mini-map were all available for players to see, but have since been taken down.

Now, the only things that remained are a keychain and exclusive shotgun that are both distinguished, based on their file names, as Nuketown rewards. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will receive its version of the famous battle map, called Nuketown ’84, on November 24.

It appears suggestive of today’s quick-moving world that even with only a week has passed after the game’s release, players are already looking forward to the next new thing. While the hype is logical, it feels like the developers have not had much of a chance to fine-tune the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War to the standard it envisions.

Players have only had access to the game for just six days and while most are likely familiar with the series, there is a strong tendency many have yet to totally master whatever new features Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has to offer.

Players should take this chance to really understand the game, specifically the elements that set it apart from other franchise games, and master it before they set their eyes on something new, even if it’s just item cosmetics.

Streamer Solves Demon’s Souls Remake Hidden Door Mystery

Demon’s Souls streamer Distortion2 has figured out the mystery of the remake’s new hidden door, which has perplexed players since it was recently discovered a few days ago. While there were some rumors that developer Blueprint Games might add generous new content or reconstruct locations removed from Demon’s Souls’ original release, the locked door and the item it contains are the most significant changes from the original discovered so far.

The legend of the Demon’s Souls locked door started just days after the game was released on the PlayStation 5. Reputable Souls content creators such as Vaati started posting about the hidden door, which was located behind an illusory wall not found in the original game.

Players instantly made efforts in trying to open the door, or get by it, in the case of Distortion2, who figured a way to get out of bounds and into the other side. There, he stumbled upon a corpse of a knight holding an item, but a huge invisible wall kept him from going near it in any way except for the door.

A few hours ago, it was also Distortion2 who discovered the appropriate solution to Demon’s Souls’ new mystery. Earlier today, players started discovering Ceramic Coins, a new item that can only be located in the remake’s Fractured Mode, which itself will only be accessible after finishing the main campaign.

With a Pure White or Pure White World Tendency, players can locate the rare items in breakable boxes. Members of the game’s fan base quickly related these coins to the mysterious door, expecting that they were the key to opening the secret passageway.

As Distortion 2 revealed, the answer to the puzzle lays in trading 26 ceramic coins to Sparkly the Crow in exchange for a key. On the stream where he successfully unlocked the secret door, the streamer guessed that the number was a reference to the 26 years that have passed since FromSoftware launched King’s Field.

Behind the door, the streamer found a new armor set that fans have been wishing for since the original Demon’s Souls game. The Penetrator Armor set belongs to a boss of a similar name and is being considered by players as one of the coolest looking armor sets in the game. After locating the armor set, Distortion 2 immediately wore his new clothes for a victory lap.

While Distortion2 was the only player to finally solve the mystery of the secret door, finding the answer was a community endeavor from one of the most committed fan bases in the gaming industry.

With the mysterious door finally unlocked and the Penetrator Armor set finally found, it remains to be seen whether the development team has hidden other things for players to discover next. There are speculations of a DLC already emerging, though provided the response from some fans to any talk of changes in the remake, the idea of totally new content may be out of the question.

For now, fans at least have a remarkable new armor set to work moving forward in Demon’s Souls, if they are able to surpass the daunting challenge of getting it.
