Joycity has decided to expand the availability of CrossFire: Warzone, its very popular strategy game. CrossFire: Warzone is based on the original shooter game CrossFire, which has around 100 million players globally.

That being said, Warzone is the very first strategy game to have surpassed the CrossFire IP. For this mobile title, players have to combat large-scale terrorist groups that endanger different cities from all over the globe.

CrossFire: Warzone was released last July 2020 to selected regions, including the United States. However, there has been a surge in demand from those regions where the game was not released.

Thankfully, Joycity has heard the fans’ pleas and so, they will be launching CrossFire: Warzone in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, Russia, and more along with local language support.

After all, the original FPS game had a huge player-base in those areas. It wouldn’t come as a surprise if Warzone, too, will be a huge success there.

CrossFire: Warzone is scheduled to be released in those regions in October. Pre-registration for the game in the expanded areas started on September 15, so we highly recommend that you go and pre-register now.

If you’re not convinced, you will even receive in-game rewards just by pre-registering, such as Officer Tokens, Medals, Gold, and Base Shields. In addition, more rewards will be given out to each participating player depending on the total number of people who pre-registered.

For more information regarding the pre-registration and any future updates, check out the official Facebook page for CrossFire: Warzone.

Black Desert Mobile has released a brand-new update, and with it comes a variety of brand-new content for Adventurers to enjoy. In this new patch, players can now explore new regions, as well as participate in events that will make your character even stronger.

The update features a new region and questline, along with the introduction of Hadum, the Goddess of Darkness, who has made her way to the Black Desert universe. Before her arrival, though, Adventurers will first be welcomed by the Omen of Darkness.

This will help them prepare for what’s to come in Hadum’s Realm. This preliminary stage will help you gather valuable items, weapons, and armor from Orwen’s Shop.

In addition to that, Town Hall Tier 8 has also been added to camps. In other words, Adventurers will be able to expand their camp area as well as produce and gather even more resources.

There’s also an all-new Merchantry: Mediah location, where you can gain various other resources that you can use to trade in the northern region. Speaking of, this region will allow you to make use of items such as the Mythical grade Crow Marchant’s Elixirs, among other new trade items.

For a complete list of the new features in Black Desert Mobile’s latest update, their official website has a pretty neat breakdown.

On another note, Black Desert SEA has a new update as well – Awakening and Succession options have been added for the latest Hashashin class.

For the first time ever in Black Desert history, Pearl Abyss has announced a dual update for Succession and Awakening for the recently-added Hashashin class. Both of these will give completely different gameplay experiences for this MMORPG.

For those players who were able to reach level 56 using their Hashashin character, they are now able to unlock either Succession or Awakening if they want to make their character even more powerful.

If you choose to Awaken your Hashashin, your character will start using the Dual Glaives as his main weapon. Despite wielding this enormous weapon, an Awakened Hashashin can still wreak havoc for his enemies at lightning speed.

On the other hand, if you prefer that your Hashashin undergoes Succession instead, he will continue to use his current weapon, which is the Shamshir sword. However, he will also be able to learn and use powerful magic abilities, such as the ability to disguise himself in sand storms.

To celebrate the release of this brand-new update, Black Desert SEA is offering various rewards just for logging into the game, for leveling up, and for successfully completing the Awakening or Succession process.

You will also receive rewards that will help you level up your Hashashin faster, such as Gold Bars and Secret Books of Old Moon.

On a related note, the Hashashin class, in general, has brought about new Adventurers globally. Statistically speaking, North America and Europe PC players have risen by 179%, while Black Desert SEA players from South America increased by 129%.

Not only that but there has also been an increase in players from Thailand, Southeast Asia, Turkey & MENA, Russia, and South Korea after the Hashashin class was introduced to the game.

For the console version of Black Desert SEA, there was an increase in new users by 330%. Overall, the global version of the MMORPG has seen an increase of 200%. That’s pretty amazing, honestly!

Developer Natsume Inc. and publisher Rising Star Games have announced that their upcoming farming title Harvest Moon: One World will be released by March 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.

To be more specific, North and South America will be able to enjoy the game on March 2, as it will be published by Natsume then. As for Europe, Rising Star Games and Nintendo of Europe will do the honors of releasing it on March 5.

In Harvest Moon: One World, you will play as a farmer just like every other Harvest Moon game. However, in this entry, the Harvest Goddess has disappeared but she instilled the Harvest Wisps with the knowledge of various seeds before she left.

By doing so, she ensured that knowledge about the many different fruits and vegetables found in their world would not be lost. By using the power of these Harvest Wisps, you – the player – will be able to unlock different seeds as you make your way through the game.

President and CEO of Natsume Hiro Maekawa also said that due to the unexpected COVID-19, the launch of Harvest Moon: One World was delayed. However, despite the ongoing pandemic, they are still working hard every day to release a game that players will be able to enjoy and love.

With all that out of the way, here are a few official Harvest Moon: One World screenshots that were released:

Classic Adventure Game ‘Myst’ Reimagined for VR

Myst is a classic adventure puzzler game that has multiple versions available already. We have the Myst Masterpiece Edition from 1999, and the realMyst: Masterpiece Edition from 2014. Before all these editions, though, there’s the original 1993 game that came in a CD-ROM.

If you were starting to miss this classic title, you’re in luck. Cyan Inc. has announced that they will be relaunching a “reimagined” version of Myst, one that will be able to support VR and flatscreen PC.

This upcoming version will feature new art, sound, interactions, and even an optional puzzle randomizer.

Myst played in VR is awe-inspiring, especially if you look at it through the lens of nostalgia. The game was already pretty appealing when it was originally released, how much more now that it’s being reimagined with better graphics and visuals?

myst_screen_01-4081030

myst_screen_03-1-1645767

That in mind, it’s highly possible that a lot of the gameplay hasn’t aged well. If memory serves right, playing the original Myst meant thoroughly scouring the screen just to find the right pixel to activate.

However, the thought of freely moving through the aesthetically-pleasing world of Myst while using VR sounds amazing.

To celebrate this announcement, Cyan Inc. released a new trailer for Myst, but it doesn’t really show any gameplay. This actually isn’t Cyan’s first time delving into VR. They once released an atmospheric yet somewhat flawed game titled Obduction, which had VR support.

This new and reimagined version of Myst doesn’t have a release date yet, but you can add it to your wishlist via different storefronts such as Steam.

Call of Duty Warzone Season 6 May Start Soon

Activision has not made any official announcements yet for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6, but a recent tweet from Minnesota COD League team ROKKR may have revealed that it will be starting on or around September 29.

Recently, the ROKKR league team tweeted that there will be an upcoming $100k Live From Warzone Tourney that will take place on September 29. To further cement the season 6 speculations, the tweet goes on to say that the tourney is to “celebrate the start of Call of Duty Season 6.”

With that in mind, we still don’t know what’s to come for Call Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Modern Warfare in the next season update. However, if September 29 will truly be when season 6 will start, it’s not that far off.

This means that we might be seeing an official announcement soon about what we can expect in the upcoming season.

In Season 5, Call of Duty’s Verdansk allowed players to go inside the stadium, explore the new map area, as well as hitch a ride on the freight train. Pretty cool stuff in and of itself. It didn’t end there, though – Activision released a roadmap after the season went live, which gave us new multiplayer modes like Bare Bones and Ground War Reinforce.

If we try and base season 6 on this previous season, we might be getting new maps, modes, and weapons. Hopefully, Activision will surprise us with something completely unexpected, too.

On a related note, Activision has posted job listings that imply that Call of Duty: Warzone might be coming to mobile.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Releases New Gameplay Trailer

During the Facebook Connect event, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge showed off a new gameplay trailer as well as revealed a release window.

Previously there were teasers and speculations that the upcoming title would be intertwined with the Black Spire Outpost, which is a place you can visit in real life at the Galaxy’s Edge section of Disney parks.

Now, in this trailer, we can see how you will be blasting your way through the area in the middle of a brand-new Star Wars story. Not only that, but a familiar gold-colored droid also appears to be your unlikely tour guide.

That said, we’re overjoyed to once again be reunited with our beloved droid C-3PO. Although, he’s still as panicky as ever and his metallic hands are only good for bonking R2-D2 on the head, so you will have to be the one to handle the blasters, as well as scan your surroundings and manage your inventory.

That being said, it seems that Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is a fully-featured shooter, which is a welcomed change from the constant lightsaber action.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will exclusively be available on the Oculus Quest as well as the Oculus Quest 2 sometime during the holiday season. It’s worth noting that Oculus also mentioned that the game will continue to ‘evolve and expand’ even after the title has been released.

So, definitely look forward to more updates or any DLC announcements for the game.

Almost 11 years after its initial launch, the latest major Left 4 Dead 2 content update is set to launch next week, September 24. Dubbed as The Last Stand, this brand-new update will feature a ton of new inclusions such as survival maps, as well as new and reworked animations and bug fixes.

As mentioned, Left 4 Dead 2: The Last Stand is the first new content brought to the game since Cold Stream from 2012. Similar to that last update, The Last Stand is a Valve-approved community-made creation.

There are over 30 members working on this for over 11 months, so it really isn’t that surprising that the update will contain a lot of new features and additional achievements, among others.

screenshot-www-youtube-com-2020-09-17-10_06_18

You will also find new melee weapons such as shovels and pitchforks, along with two brand-new mutations. A more detailed list of the changes have been listed down by JAiZ, which you can find below:

That being said, The Last Stand might be familiar to long-time Left 4 Dead players, as this was a campaign exclusive to Survival mode. In fact, this update is a remake of that campaign.

If you live in the aforementioned regions and you want to be a part of the closed beta, all you can do is wait and hope that you’re randomly chosen. However, please do keep in mind that you need to have pre-registered first.

League of Legends: Wild Rift will be available to the rest of the world at some point, but right now, the closed beta tests will only be available to Android. It’s a free-to-play game that will have in-app purchases.

Scythe: Digital Edition Now Available on iOS and Android

screenshot-www-asmodee-digital-com-2020-09-17-08_38_02

In a recent announcement, Asmodee Digital has revealed that digital adaptation of the board game Scythe has been launched on iOS and Android. Previously, Scythe: Digital Edition was released in select regions for iOS, but now, it’s available globally for both popular operating systems.

If you’re a stranger to this game, Scythe is an asymmetric board game that’s set in the 1920s, and this digital edition features graphics made by the original artist, Jakub Rozalski.

Every player takes on the role of a once-great leader who wants to restore their reputation, all while trying to lead their faction to power in Europa. In order to do so, you – the player – have to conquer territories, gather resources, take in new recruits, and even activate powerful mechs.

There’s a very big focus on engine-building in Scythe, as you need to greatly improve your construction abilities in order to become more efficient.

ss_33df235347a2dd4cff56822dfb66d9d26d72175b-1920x1080-3095108

For instance, your position on the map will greatly improve depending on the structures you build while activating mechs will make the opponents think twice about attacking you.

In addition, each player can choose one specialty out of several choices, such as Agriculturalist, Industrialist, Engineer, Patriot, and Mechanic. Each one will provide you with a unique approach to Scythe.

The physical board game was released back in 2016, but a digital version for PC was released in 2018. This PC version will be able to cross-play with the iOS and Android versions. In other words, you will be able to find games quickly as you will have a wider range of players.

On the other hand, you can also play against Scythe’s AI if you don’t feel like playing with other people.

As a premium title, Scythe: Digital Edition is now available for $8.99 on the App Store and Google Play.
