An Insight into the Mind of an Online Casino Player

Casinos are a place of both skill and chance. It is what makes the entire experience thrilling. The growing trend of visiting a casino online means that gamblers now have an avenue to play at the same amount and intensity they are used to— anonymously.

It is the beauty of virtual casinos: anyone can play their favorite games without social stigma. Nobody sees the player’s clothing and gait (which often dictates the “value” of a player in the eyes of opponents in real-life casinos).

Different Kinds of Online Casino Players

Like every game and profession, people carry defining traits and personalities. Veteran players can almost immediately identify these features.

Have you assessed yourself in this regard? Even within the virtual world, it’s possible to cold-read someone based on how they react and move.

You can take advantage of this knowledge and use it to enhance your gaming experience. It’s crucial to assess the kind of player you project, and you’ll likely find yourself identifying with one or two of the characters on our list below.

The Newbie

This category covers everyone who enters a casino online for the first time. They are figuring things out and, unless they’re extremely lucky, will probably be losing more than winning. It is all right—it’s a Herculean feat to beat the house, and a beginner is the last person likely to accomplish it.

If you identify with this character, practice makes perfect. Be sure you don’t spend your money too quickly. Mastering two to three games (or even one) is much more productive than trying everything at once.

Talk less if you’re sitting on card tables and research the games you’re playing before taking the dive. The beauty of virtual gaming is that people don’t see your nervous fidgets, so take advantage of your anonymity and observe the game’s nuances well.

The Unbelievably Lucky Unicorn

This one is what most gamblers aspire to be: a high roller who coasts on dumb luck. It’s challenging to determine if you’re a lucky person or merely experiencing a short winning streak, so here’s what you should ask yourself: “How clear-cut and frequent are my wins?”

Unless you’re one of these elusive creatures, you may find difficulty in spotting them. They can join any table or play any game and earn the coveted prize pot. Veterans (which we’ll discuss shortly) identify these folks with ease.

The Veteran

This player has been on the tables for several years, with thousands of credits sitting in their web accounts. They have often tried different casinos online and are vastly knowledgeable about countless gambling pastimes. They’re also aware of which game providers have the most profitable slot machines.

Veterans have studied the games, and the best thing that newbies can do is learn from them. This is especially true when dealing with unscrupulous casino providers.

Many of these veterans are also active in online forums. A quick Google search on a particular company or gambling game can often yield answers that good-hearted veterans have left behind.

The Professional

What’s the difference between The Professional and The Veteran? A Professional may have the same skills, experiences, knowledge, and exposure that a Veteran has, while a Veteran may not.

The Professional has reached such astronomical levels of online gambling mastery that he can afford to gamble almost full-time. Many of these experts earn a living out of gambling. This is no longer a hobby for them; it’s a lifestyle.

Professionals live and breathe online gambling as a career, and they are good at it.

The Less Popular Online Casino Players

As we delve deep into the mind of virtual gambling enthusiasts who like to play on apps such as 918kiss.app, it’s helpful to look at the industry’s fringes. Scattered throughout gaming platforms are many folks who aren’t getting much media coverage but are a great case study of the casino player mindset.

The Free-Only Player

Free-only players (FOPs) comprise the majority of risk-avoidant players who still manage to find themselves on a gambling platform, despite a supposed lack of interest. Maybe it’s boredom that pushes them into visiting online casino territories or the desire to try something new.

The primary difference between free-only players and newbies is straightforward: unless it’s a free spin or a trial table game, FOPs will not be playing.

The FOP approach is ideal for those dipping their toes, but it comes with no rewards. A no-deposit bonus can only get you so far.

The Unlucky Donkey

If there’s a lucky unicorn, there’s an unlucky donkey. These souls are not made for gambling, online or otherwise. Some learn the ropes quickly but never seem to succeed.

The unlucky donkey has a predetermined fate: endless losing streaks and empty pockets.

Everybody has their unlucky day or week. If you’re playing and you feel that this just isn’t your time, take a break and reconsider. If the downward streak continues, you probably have to accept that gambling isn’t for you.

The Lost Cause

Darkest of all is the Lost Cause. These people chase loss after loss in the hope of a milestone victory. They have an irresistible drive to continue, even when they run out of money to bet.

If you feel this kind of urge, stop immediately, and get some help. Open up to friends and family to ease your addiction—it is time to restore meaning and purpose to your life. You will need to develop other hobbies to wean off your mobile device and divert your focus to more life-reaffirming pursuits.

Coins and Characters

Participating in a casino online is a way to discover more about yourself. You may even pick up skills that you could apply to real-life situations. Besides the fun and excitement that virtual casinos provide, it also opens doors for career opportunities or side-hustles.

Just remember to gauge what kind of online casino player you are and act accordingly. Use this insight to your advantage when you see other players exhibiting certain traits. It will enhance your chances of the right moves to win.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits Launch Date has been postponed

Probably the most prominently featured games during the PlayStation 5 live streaming events, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, will not be released this year anymore.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a fantasy action-adventure game where players can control various spiritual pets. The game’s cartoonish visuals and strange gameplay has captured the eyes of PlayStation fans. However, what was once a PlayStation 5 launch game is now being delayed to another window that’s less jam-packed.

The holdup announcement was revealed today by Ember Labs, Kena’s developer, on social media. The developers first defined how excited they were in developing Kena in the last few months and how much the project meant for the team.

However, the struggles of 2020 have hit the studio pretty hard. Similar to other studios, Ember Lab specified one particular reason why Kena’s development has been really slow – the transition of working from home.

Ember Lab posted on their official Twitter account that they “have not made the decision lightly” and that the extra time is what Ember Labs believes is best for Kena but for their staffs’ health as well. Healthy developers produce great games, and with this extra time, those developers guarantee that they would be able to polish Kena up to what its fans deserve.

Getting a game’s release delayed is really disheartening but gamers who are looking forward to the next-gen games won’t have to wait too much longer. Kena was initially announced as a late-2020 launch. Ember Labs now revealed that the new release window for the game will be in the first quarter of 2021 which is barely a considerable delay at all.

If anything, this delay means a lot to gamers planning to buy a PlayStation 5. It’s already confirmed that the next-gen console will only have limited stocks upon launch and every new month means a notable increase in PlayStation 5 users.

Chances are the PlayStation 5 will eve still be short in supply during the 2020’s first quarter. For a juvenile studio like Ember Labs, the extra PlayStation 5 owners could be the difference between success and failure.

Fans are guaranteed that more details about Kena will be revealed soon. Whether it’s another delay or more teaser trailers, Sony is definitely keeping the limelight on Kena regardless of when it is released.

Pokemon Go September Event: How to Unlock Mega Bracelets

maxresdefault-4-3

The Mega Bracelet makes its way to Pokemon Go. This article will help players unlock the September special item.

Pokemon Go still remains as one of the most famous mobile games of this generation. Even with the existing effects of the coronavirus pandemic, players are still able to enjoy the game inside the comfort of their own homes. Niantic, Pokemon Go’s developer, actually had one of its most profitable months during the pandemic.

This is because players kept investing their time and money into Pokemon Go to keep themselves entertained at home thanks to the developers adjusting a few of the game’s features such as lessening the distance needed to interact with Pokestops and gyms, lengthening incense time, and allowing players to join the Battle League without cooldowns.

Mega Evolution has been an interesting feature in the Pokemon series and is now making its debut the Pokemon Go mobile game. The feature was introduced from the Pokemon X and Y main series which allows certain Pokemon to transform into a temporary fourth evolution while engaged in battle.

These fourth evolutions provide the Pokemon massive stat boost like no other. Pokemon such as Pinsir, Blastoise, and Mewtwo all have unlockable Mega Evolutions. Even though the feature works differently in Pokemon Go, it is still something worth your time if it strengthens your team.

While the Mega Bracelet is an important device used in Mega Evolution in the Pokemon main games, in Pokemon Go, it only serves as an avatar item. Players can easily buy the Mega Bracelet as a wearable item from the in-game shop.

The Mega Bracelet is worth 100 PokeCoins and is available in various colors – red, blue, yellow, and silver. The item doesn’t have any function in Pokemon Go and is just a display for the avatar.

Pokemon Go consistently adds new monsters each year. The game is currently releasing Pokemon from the sixth-gen games including fan-favorites like Diggersby, Diancie, and Greninja. It may take a few more updates before the mobile game catches up with the Pokemon main titles. However, it is worth noting that Pokemon Go is doing a great job in keeping its players focused on the game.

With new raid battles that feature rare Pokemon coming every week, there is so much to accomplish in the game. This is one of the reasons why Pokemon Go remains one of the best mobile games in the market.

Pokemon Go: How to catch the Legendary Cresselia

0
maxresdefault-3-4

If you’ve been a Pokemon fan for the past few years, you probably know by now what the game wants you to do – catch ‘em all. Catching all these powerful monsters is easier than you think. Grabbing a Pidgey can be easy and something anyone can do with their eyes closed. However, there are other Pokemon that can be really difficult to get locked away inside a Pokeball.

Ever since raid battles were launched in Pokemon Go, players have been grinding a lot to get rare, legendary, and even mythical Pokemon. Most of the most powerful monsters in the game can be caught via 5-star a raid battle which is not always easy and will occasionally need various techniques and an army of Pokemon to take these rare up-for-grabs Pokemon down.

The most recent Pokemon featured in the game’s 5-star raids is Cresselia – the legendary lunar Pokemon. Cresselia will be in raids until September 18 when the next featured Pokemon comes in the way.

If you’re struggling to catch a Cresselia, as most players have been, here is an in-depth guide to making the challenge a little bit easier.

Pokemon Go Cresselia Move List

Cresselia is a Psychic-type Pokemon and has a few earth-shattering moves that can take out your team in seconds if you’re not prepared. It has the fast moves Confusion Dark and Psycho Cut and a wide range of charged attacks such as Future Sight, Moon Blast, and Aurora Beam. As mentioned above, this is a really difficult Pokemon to catch so players must choose their raid team wisely, or else the battle will be over before it has even started.

Countering Cresselia

The best counters to bring when going up against Cresselia are Dark-type Pokemon or at least a Pokemon that knows a Dark move. Bug and Ghost Pokemon will also deal decent damage to Cresselia. However, it is best to bring Dark-type since dark moves deal super effective damage and can ride out the desolating attacks Cresselia will unleash on your team.

These are some of the best Pokemon, along with their moves, that can stand against the mighty Cresselia:

    • Chandelure with Shadow Ball and Hex
    • Genesect with Fury Cutter
    • Giratina with Shadow Ball and Shadow Claw
    • Darkrai with Dark Pulse and Snarl
    • Houndoom with Foul Play and Snarl
    • Mewtwo with Shadow Ball and Psycho Cut
    • Tyranitar with Bite
    • Volcarona with Bug Buzz and Bug Bite
    • Weavile with Foul Play and Snarl

Catching Cresselia

Catching a Cresselia is not as difficult since her catch circle is in a far more favorable place compared to the previous Legendary Pokemon. The catch circle is located directly in her face which makes it easier to achieve great and excellent throws for players who have enough experience in Pokemon Go.

The best time to throw your balls is right after Cresselia busts her moves. Throwing later than this increases the risk of Cresselia batting your ball away. The Pokemon is of Legendary class which means luring her with golden razz berries will make things easier for you.

During the event, players can also encounter a Cresselia in her shiny form but they shouldn’t expect too much since the chances of encountering a shiny Pokemon is 1 of 20.

Xbox Series S/X will Support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision

Both Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be the first consoles ever to provide Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support.

Dolby and Microsoft have revealed that both next-gen consoles will support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision upon launch. Dolby Vision will at first be supported over streaming apps. Dolby Vision support for games will follow next year.

Meanwhile, Dolby Atmos will already have support available for both apps and games on the launch date itself. According to Xbox’s official post, both of Dolby’s technologies will be “firsts” on the Xbox but it doesn’t mean that they won’t be released on the PlayStation 5 and other consoles later down the line.

Dolby Vision is a kind of HDR that is a substantially better, smarter, and more powerful version of HDR 10. It makes a vivid image with bright highlights and deep blacks. This technology is already supported on several state-of-the-art TVs but unfortunately, only a few games are using it and support is scarce for the PC.

On the other hand, Dolby Atmos is the company’s most recent advancement in surround sound technology. Atmos relies on a set of small speakers to create the effect of specific sounds on dedicated speakers.

This effect can also be attained, with shifting results, via cheaper setups such as soundbars. On Xbox, the technology will be available on headphones, home theaters, and soundbars.

Xbox Series X stand cannot be removed – journalist

twarren_200909_4177_0029-0-0

Players who want to put the Xbox Series X on its side might have one little problem – they won’t be able to remove the console’s stand.

Yesterday, Microsoft sent a few members of the gaming media a few dummy Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles. Having a replica of the real thing will be really helpful in analyzing sizes but also in studying ways Microsoft wouldn’t do.

One question that’s been boggling fans ever since the Xbox Series X was introduced were concerns about its bottom, built-in stand. The console was constructed as a standing console but Microsoft recently confirmed that users can also place it horizontally, similar to all other consoles.

This may look a little strange since the console’s power button doesn’t rotate. And now, fans might just have another good reason to just keep the Xbox Series X in a vertical position.

Ryan McCaffrey of IGN received his own dummy console yesterday and spent the rest of the day answering fan inquiries. He confirmed that the Xbox Series X’s stand couldn’t be removed in any way.

He also revealed that the stand looks like it’s helping with the console’s airflow. Allowing users to remove the stand could lead to cooling issues thus, it makes sense that it shouldn’t be removed. However, it does make it a little uglier.

It has been a year since DeNA’s mobile game Pokemon Masters was released, and its first-anniversary celebration brought with it countless changes and updates, including the game’s name being changed to Pokemon Masters EX.

A couple of story events have been going on for the past weeks, with the latest one including Lusamine, Lillie, and Gladion from Pokemon Sun and Moon. That being said, this story event has been teased in the game’s marketing strategy, as you can actually see Lillie featured in the game’s celebratory CG trailer.

‘Family Ties’ is an event wherein you can obtain story areas as well as items just by progressing through the event map. You can also earn travel tokens when you participate in event battles.

On another note, Lusamine and Pheromosa are now available via a Sync Pair scouting event. Not only that, but they can be promoted to six-star EX status as well, which is an all-new game mechanic that was introduced for the game’s first-anniversary celebration.

Image

In relation to this, Gladion and Silvally will be added on September 13, while Lillie and Clefairy will be added on September 16.

Pokemon Masters EX may not be as popular as Niantic’s Pokemon Go, but it’s a pretty successful game nonetheless. As a matter of fact, it was reported that Masters accumulated a whopping $75 million during its first year alone.

For more information regarding the ‘Family Ties’ event, head on over to the game’s official website. You will find further detail about Lusamine’s spotlight scout there, too.

Pokemon Masters EX is currently available on Android and iOS devices, so go ahead and check it out now if you haven’t yet.
