Bloodborne: Every Stat Ranked From Worst To Best

0
bb_dec_ss_7_1427134535-0

Last generation’s games made it clear that players desired a challenge, and From Software’s Dark Souls delivered in spades. It was inevitable that a slew of Dark Souls clones would emerge in the gaming world, with FromSoftware following suit.

To dismiss Bloodborne as a simple Dark Souls clone would be a massive disservice to this fantastic game. After all, there’s an explanation why Bloodborne is widely regarded as one of the best PS4 exclusives available. The fighting has been fine-tuned and cranked up a notch, and the Lovecraftian style and mythology are absolutely breathtaking in every way.

Survival can come down to stats for those drawn to Bloodborne, but leveling up the wrong stat will end a Hunter’s career before it even begins.

Endurance

newweapon_theoldhunters_1442346847-0-0-8418342

Most people would be outraged by Endurance’s low ranking, but many arguments show Endurance can also be a waste of time.

Although getting high stamina is certainly a good thing if you don’t want to get caught in a rut during combat, the boost in stamina is so small that a player will have to spend a lot of skill points in order for this stat to make a difference.

The opportunity to fit a few more movements into a player’s moveset is the incentive for spending a lot of skill points in this stat, which doesn’t seem like much of a reward after pouring all your hard-earned skill points into it.

Bloodtinge

hunter_1427135262-0-2580234

Bloodtinge’s applications in combat are so situational and subdued relative to the rest of the stats that it can frankly be put on the back burner regardless of whatever construct one may choose to try.

While Bloodtinge does help improve the harm of most guns and certain arms — the Chikage being the most prominent example — the truth is that most Bloodtinge attacks aren’t all that effective even after they’ve been leveled up, rendering them almost worthless in battle.

It doesn’t help that most Bloodtinge abilities need a large number of Quicksilver Bullets, which can be a real pain.

Arcane

maxresdefault2-600x338-8783154

During the early stages of the game, arcane builds are shockingly weak, and it isn’t until about mid-game that players can completely use this stat. However, there’s no doubt that Arcane builds’ bloodgem-infused weapons do crazy amounts of damage. Although these weapons should surely be in an Arcane build’s arsenal, Hunter Tools should also be considered.

There is no hard limit on Hunter Tools for Arcane, unlike weapon scaling, making a 99 Arcane build feasible for players. This is the Arcane stat’s most distinct feature, elevating it over most stat builds that top out at 40 or 50. Arcane may be a daunting stat to construct at the beginning, but after a few rough hours in Bloodborne, it’s all smooth sailing… maybe unnecessarily so.

Strength

chalice_1427134852-0-0-5711405

When it comes to deciding between a Strength or Skill construct in the game, series veterans have been split. Players with a Strength build can handle some truly amazing and strong arms, but most of them are admittedly sluggish to use.

Players that take their Strength construct seriously will equip some absolutely terrifying weapons, with the Whirligig Saw being a standout Strength tool that can make the entirety of Bloodborne a cakewalk.

Skill

twkf906jkgzskrgw0tdv-6947542

Bloodborne prioritizes speed much more than Dark Souls, so using sluggish weapons can be a significant disadvantage in battle. Thankfully, the Skill stat comes into play at this stage.

Investing in Skill helps players to use nimbler weapons, allowing hunters with Skill builds to easily nip in and out of battle, dishing out heavy damage while avoiding casualties.

The fact that it is the only stat that raises visceral damage is another advantage of increasing the Skill stat. Given how much easier it is to counter enemies in Bloodborne than in any other Soulsborne game, mastering counter shots in order to optimize damage production is a top priority for Skill builds.

Vitality

i2bhave2bsome-6204930

There’s no way that having more fitness isn’t easier than having more of the other stats. Higher Vitality can be the difference between success and loss in a game where players actively try to control their fitness to avoid getting themselves into trouble.

A character with a high Vitality level will take more chances in battle, wait longer before using blood vials, and usually take more hits before having to retreat. It’s easily one of the most critical stats for new players to pay attention to… unless they like dying repeatedly.

Dauntless: Max Level In Slayer Rank

0
embermane-combat-screenshots-dauntless

Players in Dauntless will level up their Slayer Rank by actively playing the game. You will boost your Slayer Rank and your Stamina and Health bars by hunting down and beating Behemoths in Dauntless. The Mastery System can be used to level the Slayer rank, but this does not automatically inform you of the level limit.

In Dauntless, how do you know when you’ve achieved the highest Slayer Rank? Continue reading to find out!

Dauntless Rank Max Level

In Dauntless, the maximum Slayer Rank is currently set to 50. More Slayer Rank limits will likely be added in the future, but before then, you’ll know you’ve topped out when you reach Slayer Rank 50. Although simply playing Dauntless is entertaining, it’s also worthwhile to work on improving your Slayer Rank.

0xiyg2ce11v21-8815531

Increase your Slayer Rank to gain access to Mastery Cards, Cores, and better weapon mods, as well as increase your Stamina and Health bars. Working through the Mastery System to complete quests and tasks fitting to your current Slayer Rank is the key way to raise your Slayer Rank in Dauntless.

You’ll be able to take on Behemoths, craft new gear, and raise the Mastery rank exclusive to each weapon and Behemoth by using the Mastery System. Arms, like Behemoths, have their own Mastery rank. You’ll automatically activate a Mastery Card when you craft a new weapon or experience a new Behemoth form, which you can inspect in your Main Menu.

These Mastery Cards come with tasks to achieve, which will boost your Mastery rank. Dealing damage to a Behemoth, for example, or crafting its armor. Some ways to keep track of the Dauntless Mastery and success include:

what-is-the-max-slayer-rank-in-dauntless_feature-4987052

  • Slayer Level: The level at which you are now a Slayer.
  • Behemoth Mastery: This is the new degree of Behemoth Mastery. This score is based on the mastery of all Behemoths, not just the one you’re looking at right now.
  • Reward Preview: Rewards players will receive when they reach the next Mastery level
  • Objectives: Completing goals increases the total Slayer Level as well as the Mastery level associated with the card.
  • Progress (Check Box): Complete a goal to label it as complete.
  • Progress Bar: This will appear next to any objectives that involve several hunts or moves. To complete the objective and obtain a checkmark, fill in the progress bar.
  • Progress (Counter): Another way to monitor your progress.

It’s also worth leveling up the Mastery Cards for different Behemoths and weapons after you’ve achieved the maximum Slayer Rank.

Warframe Buried Debts: Guide to the Thermia Fractures

0
maxresdefault-19-8

In Warframe’s latest Buried Debts event, you’ll be attempting to seal Thermia Fractures on Orb Vallis! It’s well worth it since the Opticor Vandal is the event’s final prize! This nice version of the fan-favorite weapon hits a little harder, but still more often, and is well worth picking up.

Thermia Fractures

The first thing you can do is go to Orb Vallis. You can either load directly from your Navigator or use the elevator in Fortuna to get there. This is something I would consider doing with a group of your fellow Tenno. Things can get a little frantic, and unless your Warframe has a very good crowd-control and damage build, you may need some assistance.

6466-5096206

Now go to the Temple of Profit, where the Exploiter Orb can be seen roaming about. It will be accompanied by Coolant Raknoids, a group of miniature spider-like robots. All of these Coolant Raknoids will release a coolant canister if you destroy it. Pick it up, then flee, because the Exploiter Orb deals a lot of harm, and you have no way to hurt it right now.

In your Archwing, take to the air and ride around Orb Vallis. Look for firing jets of flame coming from the top and run straight for them. This is referred to as a Thermia Fracture. When you land on it, you’ll be given the option of putting your coolant canister in the Thermia Fracture. As soon as you do this, enemies will appear, and you must protect the canister.

Enemies appear in droves here, so clean them out when staying close to the canister. It can be easily wiped out by a sly squad of enemies. If you kill any enemy beacons you come across, the number of enemy spawns in the area will decrease.

warframe-24-4-buried-depts-update-1620x800-4154917

Defend the canister until the meter in the top left of the screen reads 100 percent. You should pick up the canister and fly to find another one until the Thermia Fracture is secured. To fill the canister, repeat the process four times to earn four pieces of Thermia.

You should return to the Temple of Profit to pick up another canister after you’ve done with one. Unless, of course, another astute member of the party has been taking one along all along.

Each Thermia Fracture will usually award you 1 point against the 100 required for this case, but completing a canister completely will earn you 7. Though it is a bit of a grind, the extra points add up fast, and getting your hands on the Opticor Vandal does not take too long.

Rewards

warframe_fortuna_keyart_4k-2060x1159-1200x675-7824962

The below are the awards for this section of the Buried Debts event:

  • 5 Points – Operation Buried Debts Emblem
  • 25 Points – Amalgam Shotgun Spazz and Amalgam Serration Mods
  • 50 Points – Amalgam Barrel Diffusion and Amalgam Organ Shatter Mods
  • 75 Points – Operation Buried Debts Sigil
  • 100 Points – Opticor Vandal (Best Reward)

New Mordhau Update Introduces New Weapon, Gameplay Changes, And More

0
maxresdefault-18-8

There’s a new Mordhau update in town, and it’s got some cool new features to check out. The newest update for the medieval battler includes a brand new arm, additional mode support for two maps, and some gameplay changes to streamline your experience.

What’s New?

The Partisan is the first addition to Mordhau’s version 21. It’s a shorter spear that’s designed for stabbing at close range but can also be hurled. The Partisan spear comes in three different models, so you’re sure to find one you prefer. This one seems ideal for those who like using a wide range of tactical options in Mordhau. Triternion, the spear’s creator, also gave some observations. It’s here in all its glory:

mordhau20partisan201-3765971

Here’s a closer look at each of the three categories of tips:

mordhau20partisan202-6691417

But it’s not just about the latest Partisan arm. In addition, two of Mordhau’s maps will get additional game mode support. The Frontline gaming mode is now supported on the Castello map, and there are entirely new goals to match. The Horde gameplay mode now includes the Crossroads map, so be sure to try it out for a new take on old favorites.

New Gameplay Adjustments

This latest update also includes a number of gameplay updates. Triternion has reworked the default load-outs to make them more user-friendly for new players, as well as brand new localizations and Japanese language support.

mordhau-builds-tank-580x334-5158685

New skins for gauntlets, gloves, and arms have been introduced, as well as gameplay tweaks such as fighting animation tweaks and firearm improvements. Of course, there isn’t something that sounds like a full rewrite of mechanics, but there are many smaller tweaks that can make a difference in day-to-day gameplay.

You will find the complete patch notes for Mordhau version 21 on the official Steam website. As well, there’s a fairly lengthy changelog to read, so make sure you put aside some time if you intend to read it all. If you want to engage in some old-school medieval battle, Mordhau is available now on Steam for $29.99.

Destiny 2: What is The Bad Juju Catalyst and Where To Find It

0
maxresdefault-17-9

In Destiny 2, Bad Juju has been and continues to be one of the most common weapons. Part of it stems from nostalgia for Destiny 1, but it also stems from the weapon’s enormous ability in both PVE and PVP fighting. Not to mention that it’s a visually appealing weapon.

When the Catalyst is added to the mix, the Bad Juju becomes a much more powerful and damaging tool. It won’t replace Outbreak Perfected too soon, but it’s a valuable addition to every player’s arsenal and well worth the time and effort it took to obtain the Bad Juju Catalyst. Here’s what the Catalyst does and how to get it for players who want to improve an already powerful arm.

What Does It Do?

destiny_2_screenshot_2019-07-09___13-16-32-87-3938693

Unending Curse, a single perk provided by the Catalyst, has only one effect: it extends the length of String of Curses. When Bad Juju is killed, String of Curses is triggered, and it does four things to him:

  • Fill the entire magazine.
  • For a brief period of time, increases damage.
  • A blast of Super Energy is released.
  • While String of Curses is active, the weapon fires on full auto.

String of Curses will stack up to five times, providing massive damage, lots of Super Energy, and days’ worth of ammunition. The Catalyst’s Unending Curse effectively gives the player more time to stack String of Curses with kills and increases the duration of the additional damage.

Essentially, the Catalyst transforms Bad Juju into a potent multi-kill weapon in PVE. When you need many kills for other Catalysts or targets, it’s a great weapon to have.

How To Get It?

The Bad Juju Catalyst is very easy to get, but it will be a long process. To acquire the Catalyst, players must destroy 700 combatants in Strikes, Crucible, or Gambit. The Bad Juju Catalyst will drop until the 700th combatant has been destroyed.

Other Tips

Any mix of tasks is appropriate, and doing several items is preferred for the player’s sanity. Strikes are perhaps the quickest way to reach 700 kills. Provided that the String of Curses perk fits well in PVE, Poor Juju isn’t a bad tool to use to pound out these kills.

Players may also use Crucible’s Survival mode to pound out kills easily. To be quicker than Strikes, it depends on player ability and squad size, however possible.

223cb2838d32144929e336314eba5698-6773375

When opposed to Strikes or Crucible matches, Gambit mode isn’t usually recommended for Catalyst kills. Even it all counts against the 700 kills, so if you like Gambit, don’t be afraid to strike a balance between performance and enjoyment.

Players will eventually need a weapon that can easily dispatch enemies and add up the 700 kills in whatever way possible. To save time, combine this grind with others, such as the Dead Man’s Tale Catalyst search, which requires 800 kills with the Dead Man’s Tale rifle.

How To Kill The Thumper Doma In Warframe

0
maxresdefault-16-11

In Warframe, the Tusk Thumper Doma is a versatile war machine that can be found on the Plains of Eidolon. For a Nightwave challenge, Nora Night wants us to destroy one. We’ll show you where to look for one and how to dispatch it in this guide.

The Thumper Doma

This is a daunting foe because it is well-known for being a war machine, which does not put it in a difficult situation. It also poses a significant obstacle for us because we will need to hold all we have, which means going deep in a quest that will not take long.

maxresdefault-5306475

Locations

It is necessary to consider that before learning how to defeat Tusk Thumper Doma, it is ideal to consider where it spawns, which becomes more complicated because random encounters are common. For this, we will need to use our Archwing, which allows us to fly to the places where it usually spawns, and if we do not see it in the first place, we simply do not give it a bad life.

tusk-thumper-spawns-850x356-8003933

To obtain a Tusk Thumper Doma, we must travel to the plains, obtain a level 5 reward, and visit Konzu in Cetus, meaning that we must be on an acceptable level quest. It is also important to note that a regular Tusk Thumper Doma is available on the Eidolon Plains.

How To Kill

The Tusk Thumper Doma is heavily armored and can not be damaged by a bullet to the body. The armor plates on the knees must be shot off, revealing a vulnerable glowing spot. Each of the machine’s four weak points, one on each knee, constitutes a quarter of the machine’s overall health.

Since the Tusk Thumper Doma is made of Alloy Armor, you can attack it with Radiation, Cold, or Puncture. The most powerful form of damage against the Doma is radiation. Radiation damage can be added to any arm by combining Heat and Electrical damage mods. Both damage forms, including magnetic, slash, and electric, are less effective against Alloy Armor, so avoid using them.

We recommend using a Catchmoon against it, as we’ve found that when modded with the right damage, they rip these enemies to shreds. Due to its high fitness and agility, the Tusk Thumper is an awkward opponent. It can hop around and be difficult to reach. Bring a Rhino with you, and his Stomp would lock the Tusk Thumper in place, allowing you to quickly deal harm to it. Only be careful and work on your fitness.

It’s also way better to do this in a group, so if you’re a solo player, it’s a smart idea to join the Recruiting chat and join a group looking for the Tusk Thumper Doma.

The Best Class Synergies In League of Legends Teamfight Tactics

0
tft3

Although you’ll want some variety among your TFT classes, stacking up on champions who share a class and devising good TFT comps can cause some serious harm. There are currently 13 TFT classes in the game, some of which are better than others and can be combined and developed around. Within each class, you’ll find a variety of champions with varying costs that can be classified as early, mid, or late game champions.

We’ll go through the best Teamfight Tactics groups and the synergies they gain when stacked together in this guide. So, without further ado, here are the best Teamfight Tactics, groups.

Assassin

maxresdefault-9650542

Assassins are dangerous. This class, like most MOBAs, is all about sneaking into an enemy’s backline and picking off healers and squishy targets. TFT is doing the same thing, and they’re pretty good at it. Assassins can easily form one of the best TFT comps when paired with tanky summoners and desert origin champions.

Perks:

(3x) Critical strike damage increases by 50%, and critical chance increases by 10% for assassins.

(6x) Assassins’ critical strike damage increases by +150 percent, with a 20% chance of a critical strike.

Ranger

maxresdefault-7056146

Due to current buffs and versatile champions, Rangers are proving to be incredibly successful. Their ace in the hole is their mastery of attack pace, which is currently one of the most powerful stat buffs in Teamfight Tactics. You’ll be smiling if you can create a Glacial comp’ around Ashe.

Perks:

(2x) For three seconds, Rangers have a 35 percent chance to double their attack pace.

(4x) For three seconds, Rangers have an 80% chance of doubling their attack level.

(6x) Rangers have a 100% chance of activating a three-second 2.5x attack speed boost.

Blademaster

maxresdefault-7151964

The Blademaster perks are cool, but the champions have inconsistent records and can’t be counted early on. Note that risky play will often mean pushing blademasters to match, so try to naturally incorporate them into your build.

Yasuo is fantastic, but he’s a late-game hero, so you can’t develop your early-game strategy around him. Master Yi is another great late-game choice, and thanks to his retaliation potential, landing him towards the end of the game will result in some powerful shadow comps and high damage performance.

Perks:

(2x) After each attack, Blademasters have a 40% risk of striking once more

(4x) After each attack, Blademasters have a 40% risk of striking twice more

(6x) Blademasters have a 40% chance of striking three times more after each attack.

Summoner

maxresdefault-7924530

Summoners have a history of sticking around and adapting to changing circumstances. Due to their board control skills, Annie, Azir, and Yorick are among the strongest S-tier champions in the game. Azir is one of the top three cost champions, making an early play with assassins or rangers a surefire way to gain an advantage. With the provocation from rangers, Yorick can be played somewhat more offensively, and his crazy skills and complementary things can hold the board alive for long, drawn-out battles.

Perks:

(3 times) Summoners have a 30% higher wellbeing and length than non-summoners.

(6 times) Summoners have a 120 percent fitness and period boost.

Mystic

maxresdefault-1732137

Master Yi and Karma, both in the mystic order, are two of the strongest champions in TFT. This class is extremely strong, versatile, and complements the majority of comps. It’s simple to include mystic and stack magic resistance in your construction, particularly if you’re going for six shadow or six inferno comps. This agile and powerful class, which is often seen in the middle to late game, can either cluster around allies, take the frontline, or fend off enemies with ranged attacks.

Perks:

(2x) Mystics provides allies with a magical tolerance of 40.

(4 times) Allies of mystics gain 120 spell resistance.

How To Master The Recalibration Station In The Division 2

0
maxresdefault-15-11

Warlords of New York is the most recent update for Division 2, and it brings significant improvements to loot and, more significantly, the Recalibration Station. Before the update, if a piece of equipment had a high stat, it had to be absolutely demolished to receive the upgrade. Agents still had no idea what a maximum roll for various parts would be. All of that has changed, and handling the changes is a piece of cake.

The Recalibration Station has undergone a major overhaul now that Loot 2.0 is here to stay. Loot has been reorganized, and upgraded items are now kept in a library to be used at a later date. All of this translates to a more straightforward update process, improved organization of where products can be found, and improved recognition of great rolls. Let’s go through some of the updates and how to use this new system to update your characters.

000041825_engb_recalibrationlibrary001-8209897

Locations

There are two sites where you can get a recalibration. One is based at the Base of Operations in Washington, D.C., and the other is based in Haven, New York. When you arrive at any of them, you’ll see two options: the Station and the Library.

When the agent selects the Station choice, a menu of weapons and equipment will appear, indicating how much of each type of weapon and gear they have in their inventory/stash. Here, the agent will choose the weapon or equipment they want to upgrade to see what modifications, if any, are possible.

division-2-recalibration-guide-2-1024x576-7548807

Instead, if an agent needs to see what they have to upgrade, they can go to the Library site. The Library, like the Station, has the same initial menu with the various weapons and gear, with one minor exception. A tiny green arrow pointing up informs the agent that an upgrade is available from a piece of equipment.

A new menu appears after you choose the desired piece of gear or weapons. Core Attributes, Attributes, and Talents are all possible choices for this menu. Only the guns, chests, and backpacks will have the Talents option. After you’ve decided on one of the upgrade options, the next step is to decide which one you want to upgrade to.

How To Upgrade

It’s time to recalibrate the piece we want after learning how to classify which part does what. To begin, we must locate a piece of equipment with a stat we can roll off and add to the library. Let’s pretend that an SMG fell with 5.0 percent weapon damage as an attribute and was picked up in the open world or missions.

gm-912f273e-d443-4ec8-8a3c-787b22ff9121-skill-tiers-7244097

If you kill this weapon right away, it could give you materials. It must be placed in the Library, which requires the agent to go to the Recalibration Library and destroy it there. The difference is that losing it in the Library returns it to the Library, where it can be used on other SMGs.

Go to the Station portion, select the SMG, select the talent to delete, and replace it with the attribute now stored in the library. In our example, the 5.0 percent weapon damage will not be lost and can be reused each time it is used in a recalibration. This is the same theory that applies to all arms and equipment.

Tips and Tricks

Even if the piece you get doesn’t have a god roll (God rolls are marked by the orange bar that highlights the attribute), adding it to the Library as a temporary step would ensure that in the worst-case situation, you have a valuable attribute already stored.

Another suggestion is to figure out what needs to be stored on an object with several successful rolls. If you have two god attributes on one item, make sure the more valuable talent is rolled off to the library or that you know the talent is needed more.

the-division-2-grace-3127307

Another option is to keep the item in the stash before another piece that suits one of the other talents becomes available. Perfect talents can be tricky, as rolling a perfect talent can not result in the perfect being rolled off and the base standard is stored instead.

Make sure you have a second identical perfect talent as a test piece before dismissing such a great talent. A final trick is that in the Recalibration Station portion, it will state where the actual attributes are on the right side. A message will appear indicating which of the attributes it will use. If there is more than one and it is not possible to adjust it to the desired attribute.

Best Dribble Moves In NBA2K20

0
maxresdefault-14-12

Visual Concepts has changed the dribbling system in NBA 2K20, and players are now working hard to learn the new system and improve their dribbling. Changes to the animation are a huge part of this reboot, and veterans of the franchise may need to make some improvements to become great at NBA 2K20 dribbling. Furthermore, once players have mastered the fundamentals of dribbling, they may be interested in learning the best dribbling moves in NBA 2K20.

This guide aims to outline some of the best NBA 2K20 dribble moves, and hopefully, it will help players who are looking to improve their game. Players will find that tweaking these dribbling moves in NBA 2K20 improves their efficiency, but the ones listed here should provide a strong foundation for fans looking for a good starting point in their quest to become a starter in NBA 2K20.

The video below details a build that can yield some excellent results for those who have worked out the basics, such as how to call for a screen in NBA 2K20, and are interested in the best NBA 2K20 dribbling moves. The footage in this video clearly shows these principles. In general, these NBA 2K20 dribble movements concentrate on giving players room for shooting and building momentum.

If you’d rather see NBA 2K20’s best dribbling moves in a list format, the following are the ones seen in the video:

  • Dribble Style: Jason Kidd
  • Size-Up Package: A. Iverson
  • Moving Crossover: Pro 2
  • Moving Behind the Back: Pro 3
  • Moving Spins: Basic 1
  • Moving Hesitations: Pro 5
  • Triple Threat Style: Normal 5
  • Dribble Pull-Ups: Normal 4
  • Hop Jumpers: Normal 14

As previously mentioned, one of the advantages provided by these best NBA 2K20 dribble moves is the ability to generate fast momentum. The Iverson Size-Up Kit, in particular, is critical to this, and the video compares it to the package that comes with selecting K. Bryant.

6372247815493844362030167-4966187

Furthermore, the Basic 1 Moving Spin’s launch back is effective at creating room for the best jump shots in NBA 2K20. As seen in the video, launch backs, along with half spins and in between the legs, are among the most important aspects of dribbling in NBA 2K20, which is why this is one of the best dribble moves in the game.

Although the launch of NBA 2K20 was marred by controversy, prompting some fans to demand that Ronnie Singh be fired from 2K, many players are finding a lot to like in this year’s entry. Hopefully, these NBA 2K20 dribbling moves will help some of these fans boost their performance while also increasing their enjoyment.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: How To Defeat Steropes

0
maxresdefault-13-11

Ubisoft unveiled a new epic monster for Kassandra and Alexios to find and destroy on November 13, 2020. Steropes – The Lightning Bringer is a cyclops of high rank. His quest is immediately added to your inventory under the Bounties tab, indicating that it is indeed a Bounty. But there’s no need to hurry. It doesn’t expire, so you can take your time or go ahead and destroy it right away.

Steropes Location

The quest is simply titled “The Lightning Bringer,” and it is recommended for characters level 50 and up. Steropes resides on Andros, the same island that houses the Ancient Forge. You’ve already figured out how to get to the Forge quickly, so just get there, leave, and head west. He can be found in a small cave on the northern shore of Steropes Bay.

how-to-defeat-steropes-the-lightning-bringer-stomping-the-waters-9466129

How To Defeat Steropes, The Lightning Bringer

If you’re playing in the easiest setting, simply enter the cave and begin slashing. In less than a minute, you’ll be finished. On Normal and higher difficulties, however, you must be aware of Steropes’ special attacks.

He has a large AoE because he is a giant beast. When you see him about to do something, be alert and dodge back and away. Some of his attacks deal damage in a 360-degree cone. Switch away from Steropes as he begins stomping the water and shoot him with your bow before the channeled assault stops.

Steropes is about to run towards you when he puts his right hand in front of his eyes. You can dodge to the left, allowing you to do some nice damage from behind him. After the “rush attack,” Steropes remains motionless for a short period of time – get close and strike him hard, then dodge away until he reaches you.

maxresdefault-8150914

Start moving when Steropes raises his left hand (with the weapon) high above his head. This is a powerful frontal assault with a long-range (the guy has long arms :P). It also sends waves in a straight line, which you can easily stop by moving or dodging. He does a sequence of these in a row later in the war (unless he hits you with one, in which case he cancels the next one) (s).

When you get too close to Steropes, he can try to hit you with his right hand. Dodging this one at the right time gives you a great chance to go into “slow-mo” and land a few hard hits.

The assault where Steropes bends forward and starts smashing the water, causing AoE waves of damage under your feet is the one that irritates me the most. The assault spawns under your current position, so keep moving while he’s at it.

If you want to take the simple route, hunter builds are the way to go. Use any moment you’re not with him to fire arrows and increase your anger. I used my favorite Warrior Build, which took a little longer to defeat because I dodged and rolled away a few times just to be healthy.

Quest Rewards

When you destroy Steropes, you will receive his Legendary Bow, which has the following stats:

+ Hunter Damage (15% at level 50)

That’s all I have to say about the Steropes Cyclops Epic Boss in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. I hope you find this short reference guide to be helpful.
