Last of Us 2 Director Makes Quip Regarding Those Who Criticized Abby’s Body

The indignity coming from certain fans of The Last of Us 2 has finally significantly lessened since the title’s release back in June. Still, many fans refuse to forget the chaos that ensued because of the haters.

For one thing, there were a lot of homophobic comments being thrown around about Ellie, and the certain death of a character led to critics review bombing the title on Metacritic.

It gets even worse: many players were overly-critical of Abby’s body type, and even though a lot of fans dislike the character, some went as far as sending death threats to the character’s VA.

Despite the fact that The Last of Us 2 was a critically-acclaimed title and a highly-anticipated sequel to The Last of Us, the drama and controversy that took place was really quite intense.

the-last-of-us-part-ii-pgw-screen-10-ps4-us-10jul18

Recently, The Last of Us 2 community celebrated The Last of Us Day, which was previously called Outbreak Day before it was renamed due to the current ongoing pandemic. Naughty Dog revealed a bunch of cool stuff during this year’s event, such as a free PS4 theme, a cosplay guide, figurines of Joel and Ellie, and so much more.

However, after the event, Neil Druckmann, who is Naughty Dog’s VP and The Last of Us 2‘s head writer, posted his thoughts about some of The Last of Us 2’s critics on Twitter.

Using a recently-popular meme format, Twitter user @KharloKong asked an open question (“Which video game opinion you got that results in this“) and attached a screenshot from the Disney movie Tangled.

For context: the Tangled character, Flynn Rider, expresses a very unpopular opinion during a musical number during the movie that a bunch of enraged people pointed their swords at him.

Druckmann then responses to @KharloKong’s original tweet by saying “That female characters can be muscular?” along with a GIF of Joel putting his head in his hand.

This response may require basic knowledge of the whole The Last of Us 2 issue, but one thing is clear: Druckmann is more than aware of how much hate Abby’s muscular body received, yet he proudly stands by his creative decisions despite the negative backlash.

The fact that he included a GIF of Joel facepalming also indicates how disappointed he is in some of the fans’ bitterness and hate.

Of course, a lot of players have also pointed out that given the game’s setting, which is a post-apocalyptic world, it’s not that surprising for a woman to be quite buff, especially for aggressive characters like Abby.

In line with this, they also pointed out the duality in some fans, in that they don’t react negatively when they see extremely muscular men in video games.

At the end of the day, The Last of Us 2 is just a fictional game, and it’s completely understandable why Druckmann, among others, is still exasperated that so many are so hurt by a fictional character’s body type.

Nevertheless, Druckmann appears to be completely unapologetic for the decisions he and the other developers have made for the game, no matter how controversial and divisive they are.

Riot is Considering New Melee VFX and Animations for Valorant

0
screenshot-playvalorant-com-2020-09-28-11_18_33

New Agents and maps may be two of the most highly-requested additions to Valorant, but the request for new skins have been increasing in popularity as well. The cosmetics you’ll find in this popular team-based shooter – from the Select Edition to the Exclusive Edition – vary in sizes, shapes, as well as prices.

Previously, the Elderflame skin bundle (Ultra Edition) received a lot of negative reactions from fans because it was just too expensive, costing 9,900 Valorant Points. Now, however, the latest skins from the EGO and Smite bundles are being critically-reviewed for different reasons.

To put it simply, the melee weapon for both the EGO and Smite bundles are basically just simple reskins of the default in-game knife. The fact that they don’t have any additional animations or video effects for the melee weapon has been getting on the nerves of many Valorant players.

screenshot-www-youtube-com-2020-09-28-11_33_53

Recently, a Redditor took to the Valorant subreddit to express how they hope that the melee for the upcoming G.U.N skin bundle will have unique VFX so that it’s not just the same as the default.

In that same post, Riot Games asked the user what kind of animation they would want to see in the future. In addition to that, one of Riot’s developers explained the reason why some skin bundles have a unique animation while others don’t.

screenshot-pvplive-net-2020-09-28-11_57_01The developer goes on to say that they are “evaluating” the requests of the players and trying to take a look at what kind of adjustments they can make.

Many fans flocked to the Reddit thread to express their appreciation for the fact that the Riot devs seemed interested in their opinions, along with other thoughts they’d like to see in the game. One user suggested that the draw animation for each melee weapon should be unique, saying that this would probably make more players buy and flex the skin more.

Another user added that the melee weapon having the same inspect is probably the main concern for many players, to which one of the developers agreed.

The dev then adds that they’re “definitely looking into ways” to make the melee weapons more different.

One of the reasons why this uproar turned up is because the EGO by OneTap and the upcoming G.U.N bundles are both considered to be in the same ‘Premium Edition’ tier. However, the latter features a complete reskin and a possibly new animation or VFX as well for the melee weapon.

As such, many fans are saying that purchasing the skin bundle with not only the custom melee skin but a potential VFX too would be more worth it. However, it appears that Riot Games and its developers are more than willing to hear the fans out, as they are already beginning to seriously consider the community’s feedback.

As a matter of fact, we wouldn’t be all that surprised if one of Valorant’s future updates will bring all-new animations or VFX to many of the currently existing melee skins. If they do so, many fans will, without a doubt, be very pleased with Riot.

Mojang Invites Fans to Vote for Minecraft’s New Mob

Minecraft will be having another major update soon, and apparently, Mojang plans on including a brand-new mob to the game. The studio took to Twitter, as you do, to invite fans to join their upcoming live stream where they need help deciding which one they’ll be adding.

The announcement posted today, which was written by Mojang’s Creative Writer Sofia Dankis, suggests that the new mob they’re planning to bring in for the new update will be from one of Minecraft’s satellite games.

As you may or may not know, the last mob that got voted into the game was the Phantom. This is the game’s very first aggressive flying mob and it can be a huge pain for those players whose characters lack in-game sleep.

This month’s Minecraft Live show will take place on the Minecraft website on October 3, 2020. However, Mojang will also be streaming it on their official social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube.

On the other hand, it’s probably best to go to the official Minecraft page if you wish to vote for one of the potential mobs. It’s highly probable that the studio already has the resources for all three mobs, though.

So, if your choice doesn’t win, it may have a chance to be added in future updates.

image

First up, we have the Moobloom. This is a new kind of cow in the Minecraft universe that’s similar to a Mooshroom. As a matter of fact, the Moobloom is the rarest kind of cow mob in Minecraft Earth.

It’s honestly a pretty adorable-looking cow, with its yellow and white-spotted body. It also has buttercups growing on its back, and when it walks, it leaves a trail of dandelions and sunflowers in its wake.

We don’t know yet what kind of resource players will get when they milk the Moobloom, so if it does get chosen as the winner, there’s a chance that it will either offer a new item or it will just be a decorative mob for animal lovers.

Next, we have the Iceologer. Otherwise known as an ‘ice pillager’ or ‘chillager,’ the Iceologer is not a friendly mob and it first appeared in Creeping Winter, the recently-released Minecraft Dungeons DLC.

The Iceologer usually appears in pairs, and they summon big blocks of ice which they then drop onto players’ heads. Here’s what you can expect to see if this mob gets chosen as the winner: you will encounter it at the icy peaks of tall mountains where it will ward off players.

Last but not least, the third option is the Glow Squid, which was included in the Minecraft Earth app last February. These creatures are modeled after bioluminescent deep-sea animals, as you can see in the way it glows.

That being said, you will probably be able to come across the Glow Squid in swamp biomes. This mob also drops ink sacs in Minecraft Earth, but since this one is the glowing kind, then it might also be a great source of Glowstone in the surface world.

There you have it: the three mobs that you can vote on this October. Don’t forget to check out the Minecraft Live show this week!

Electronic Arts Reveals New Star Wars: Squadrons Progression Details

Star Wars: Squadrons is scheduled to be released this week, and Electronic Arts continuously teases fans by revealing more details about the upcoming title. This time around, EA discusses the ranks, rewards, and progression details in a blog update.

To give you a brief overview of Star Wars: Squadrons, it’s basically a space combat game that lets you dogfight using some of the popular ships you’ll find in Star Wars. Squadrons will definitely fill you with excitement as you participate in 5v5 matches, or extensive battles known as Fleet Battles, which take place in multiple stages.

As the player, you have the option to customize not only your pilot but your starship as well using all kinds of upgrades and aesthetic improvements that are meant to change the way your ship flies or fights.

However, you have to unlock these upgrades first. To do so, you have to successfully complete challenges and operations in the game, along with leveling up your pilot. If you finish the daily challenges, you will be rewarded with the in-game currency known as Glory.

Glory can then be used to unlock various kinds of cosmetic upgrades. Completing challenges isn’t the only way you can earn Glory, though. You can also get some by doing well in matches.

sws-challenges-jpg-adapt_-crop16x9-1455w-3584662

Daily challenges contain timed, rotating objectives that you can complete, and it usually has pretty simple and straightforward goals. For instance, some objectives require you to win a certain amount of matches or perhaps destroy enemy ships.

In more ways than one, Squadrons’ daily challenges look very similar to the challenges you’ll find in Star Wars Battlefront.

Asides from Daily Challenges, the game also has Operational Challenges which is linked to the title’s Operations mode. If you complete these challenges, you’ll be able to get unique cosmetic items that you won’t be able to obtain anywhere else.

These Operations take place in eight-week cycles, and each new one has a unique set of cosmetic upgrades to offer. In other words, not completing an Operational Challenge means that you’ll miss out on the designated cosmetic upgrades for that Operation.

On the plus side, there’s still a chance that the Operation will return, but you’ll just have to wait indefinitely.

sws-rank-jpg-adapt_-crop16x9-1455w-6078175

That being said, the aforementioned Fleet Battle and the Operations are linked together. More specifically, the ranks in Fleet Battles will also reset along with each new Operation. This gives you an opportunity to try and reach the highest rank every eight weeks.

After the Operation ends, you will be given Glory based on what rank you were able to reach. Not only that but if you achieve either one of the three highest ranks – Valiant, Legend, or Galactic Ace – you will be given exclusive, one-of-a-kind helmets.

On the other hand, each player has a personal level that won’t reset, unlike the ranks. You will be able to increase your personal level by gaining experience via simply playing the game.

Every level reaching up to level 40 will gain you Requisition points, which you can then use to buy new components for your ship.

Star Wars: Squadrons is set to release this October 2.

Call of Duty Reveals Subway Map ahead of Warzone’s Season 6 Update

call-of-duty-warzone-1

The map for the upcoming Call of Duty Warzone subway system has been unveiled ahead of the Season 6 update. A few days ago, the reveal trailer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6 was released which was focused around an infiltration mission within the new subway systems. The last seconds of the trailer ended with an obscure outline of what the new subway system map might look like.

Speculations about the new features of the Season 6 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare have been surfacing as early as the first week of this month. The inclusion of the subway system will follow the flow of new diverse areas being included in the Verdansk map.

https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1309175815167447041

So far, the new inclusions added to the game are a train system, the opening of the stadium, and a set of bunkers that can be visited across the map involving a series of quests. The upcoming addition of the subway system seems like the game’s most progressive inclusion to date.

An official photo of the upcoming subway system for Warzone has been uploaded on Call of Duty’s official Twitter account just a few hours ago. The tweet allows players to study the subway system as a whole and there is abundant information to take in just one photo.

The photo shows the entire map beneath what looks like a geographical version of Verdansk. On the right side of the photo is a set of locations and routes in which they are going. Similar to real subway maps, the photo has various colored lines to demonstrate which stops each train will make. What adds mystery to the image is a text located at the bottom that says:

Please Be Advised: In the event of an environmental hazard occurring at train station, train will continue operation to the next nearest safe station on the line.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6 is scheduled to be released next week, September 29. In the recently released teaser trailer for the upcoming season, not only was the subway system confirmed but two new Operators were also introduced to be coming to the game.

Based on the teaser, the Soviet Fighter named Nikolai and Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s Farah will be returning to the game as the new Operators. If this subways system really covers the whole of Verdansk, then Call of Duty Warzone fans are in for one of the best features of the game so far.

This will not only change the diversity of the map which will force players to learn new ways to play but will also give a new way of traveling around the expansive map of Verdansk. This subway system will be the biggest addition to Call of Duty Warzone so far and it will be fascinating to see if updates with this size continue since Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will soon be releasing to the current- and next-gen consoles across the world.

Xbox Series X/S Sold Out in Japan Hours After Release

The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X are already sold out in stores in Japan just hours after opening preorders. Retailers in Japan started taking preorders of Microsoft’s next-gen consoles at midnight which players will get on November 10, 2020.

After last week’s PlayStation 5 preorder chaos, Xbox has taken safety measures to prevent a similar situation and even mocking its rival company when it revealed the Xbox Series X/S preorder dates. Along with the start of the preorders, Microsoft also revealed new information regarding the new Xbox Wireless Controller in an effort to maximize the next-gen console sales.

The Xbox franchise has a history of performing poorly in the Japanese market. However, this time, Microsoft claims that Japan is now the fastest-growing country in the world for the company’s sales.

This was apparently confirmed by the rate at which Microsoft’s latest next-gen consoles sold out after preorders became available to its fans. This has been a significant improvement compared to the Xbox One, which made only one percent of all its worldwide sales in the country.

VGC reported that the more costly Xbox Series X was already sold out in just 20 minutes after releasing on Amazon Japan after preorders went online at midnight. An hour later, the Xbox Series S was also sold out.

A lot of major Japanese electronics stores also disclosed that both next-gen consoles were already sold out within minutes after becoming available including Microsoft’s official store in Japan. All of this news came out hours after Microsoft Japan declared a small discount for the Xbox Series X but it’s uncertain if this had any blunt impact on its sales.

https://twitter.com/IdleSloth84/status/1309028429329772545

Microsoft continued its promotional campaign in the country for its next-gen consoles las Thursday at the online Tokyo Game Show. During the show, Microsoft showcased several games that players will be able to play on the new consoles but focused mainly on games made within Japan such as Resident Evil 8.

Microsoft has been putting a lot of effort in the past years to cater to the Japanese fans and finally, it appears that all their work has paid off. This success came shortly after Microsoft announced that they have purchased ZeniMax Media which is Bethesda’s parent company who is well-known for developing the Doom, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout franchises.

This quick start is great news for Xbox as Microsoft attempts to maintain itself in the competition where it has strived for years. It is probable that the company is pursuing to expand its gaming roster by catering to its fans in the hopes of getting a developer from Japan.

Xbox and Microsoft have had a ton of great news to reveal in the past weeks and fans hope that this success will continue in the future. It’s probable that the next-gen of gaming could look like the existing TV streaming service models where PlayStation and Xbox could keep the products they own as exclusives which will force players to pick a console based on the exclusive games they like.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Teases New Updates In New Video

0
txj9e4otgg851

It’s almost difficult to believe that it has already been six months since Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released. Within this time frame, Nintendo has launched several updates for the game with no additional charges. With the latest update just a few days from its launch, Nintendo has also confirmed the release window for another future seasonal update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

As mentioned above, the latest update for the game will be released on September 30 and will be themed for the upcoming Halloween season. Since the game was released, Nintendo has been constantly providing several seasonal updates for the game, each matching the events of the year. While the Halloween update hasn’t been officially launched, Nintendo has already started to tease another upcoming update, launching a few weeks after the fall update.

At the last seconds of the trailer for the Halloween update, Nintendo unveiled the release window for the upcoming Thanksgiving/Christmas update which is supposed to be released in late November. It will be fascinating to see all of the Christmas themed updates so soon after receiving the Halloween inspired items and clothes.

While Nintendo didn’t reveal more details about the new November update, the announcement was followed by photos of Franklin the turkey and Jingle the Reindeer. The turkey will host the Harvest Festival event for Thanksgiving, while the latter appears during Toy Day for the Christmas season, so it seems like both holidays are covered as part of the new update.

However, it is really strange that Nintendo chose to reveal the presence of a Christmas-themed update right before the fall update is released. Perhaps the Japanese gaming giant realized that players would be interested to know when the Christmas update will arrive considering how close these holidays are with each other. As a matter of fact, the Halloween update was released right after the fall Animal Crossing update back in the early days of September.

cheffranklinhero-2030375

Regardless, it’s nice to know that Nintendo is already planning ahead in terms of free additional content updates. These updates always provide a set of new content to the game, adding countless new things to do since the Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released.

In fact, just a few weeks after the game was released, a free Easter-themed update was announced, though it included a few additions that weren’t well-received, particularly on the excessive number of exclusive event eggs spread across the whole island.

In addition to the new update, Animal Crossing Amiibo cares will also be making a comeback in November. Series 1 to 4 Amiibo Cards will soon be available again at select retailer stores. A pack will cost $6 and will contain six cards. Players can use these cards to summon villagers to live on the island.

It is amazing how Nintendo has controlled to stay on top of launching these free additional content updates in a constant and prompt manner. These contents, along with several additional updates the company has prepared for the game will certainly give fans of the game a lot of new things to do and accomplish within their Animal Crossing Islands.

Fornite Welcomes Blade As Part of Crossover With Marvel

0
maxresdefault-28

Fortnite has officially confirmed that Marvel’s legendary vampire hunter Blade will be joining the game’s character lineup. The superhero was teased a few days ago by both Marvel Entertainment and Fortnite on their official Twitter accounts.

Blade joins a growing cast of Marvel superheroes inhabiting the ever-popular battle royale title as part of its Season 4 update which challenges players to team up and defeat the powerful villain Galactus. Fortnite’s Season 4 has been a very significant time both in and out of the game.

Outside Fornite, the continuing legal battle between Apple and Epic Games has made the new Marvel content more difficult to access for all iOS and Mac users. However, for everyone else, the new season has been exhilarating, consistently adding more beloved Marvel superheroes for players to meet and fight. As if this wasn’t enough, a recently released customizable skin allows players to design their own hero costume and use it during matches.

If players aren’t into making their own costumes, they can always borrow the outfits of an existing hero instead. As posted on Fortnite’s official website, Blade’s skin is now available in the game. Players can either buy the Blade Outfit or the Blade Bundle from the in-game shop. The featured skin comes with the Sword of the Daywalker which can be used as a pickaxe and a piece of Black Bling which can be equipped on the character’s back if they own both.

The Dayflier Glider will also be included in the game following the recent X-Wing Glider which gives players new exciting ways to drop into the battlefield. Another new addition to the game is an emote called Daywalker’s Kata which allows the legendary vampire hunter to bust off his jaw-dropping martial arts moves.

Blade’s addition as a character skin and not as a quest-relevant NPC is an exciting decision from the developers. While the character is a well-known hero, he’s not as popular as Iron Man and Thor. In addition, his specialty on supernatural creatures such as zombies and vampires means he will not have much to play in the story revolving around Galactus – the planet eater. Allowing fans to play him is a great way to promote the character without forcing him into the season’s overarching storyline.

There is no better time to get interested in Blade as the hero is expected to appear soon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which will be played by Mahershala Ali. In addition, the original Blade film trilogy will be included in Hulu’s library in October which gives players the opportunity to know more about the Marvel superhero.

fortnite_c2s4_bplineup-0-2193981

The arrival of Marvel superheroes on Fortnite’s island has come with its own tie-in comic for the exclusive event where a group of Marvel characters teams up to fight against Galactus. However, these comics aren’t just added for the tie-in as Marvel confirmed them as canon. Blade’s introduction in Fortnite is another great method to increase the hype for the character and will certainly be another great addition to a strong season of super-powered content.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Will Be Bigger Than Breath of The Wild

0
nintendo_hyrulewarriors_featured

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will even be bigger than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, at least in one way. The game is a prequel to the beloved Breath of the Wild, where players will be taken in a time long before the events of the first game and help battle against the arrival of Ganon and the annihilation of Hyrule. In fact, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will have the opportunity to improve the original and all of its additional content.

Though these attempts will eventually fail – Ganon winning the battle sets the storyline for Breath of the Wild in motion. However, the game will offer players unforgettable experiences to make up for the sad ending, like being able to control the rarely unplayable Princess Zelda.

Fans will be receiving their first look at Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity at the Tokyo Game Show where the game will reportedly have a 50-minute presentation. The announcement of the nearly hour-long presentation is a breath of fresh air for Zelda fans who, aside from the reveal trailer, have been provided several details on the new game.

Though the new game is not the long-awaited Breath of the Wild 2, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will give fans a lot of things to do in the meantime, if it’s 15.6GB of preloaded data is any indication. Though the alluring open-world Breath of the Wild provided fans with so many things to discover, the game’s file size during the launch date was only 13.4GB.

Only Breath of the Wild’s DLC made its size similar to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. The prequel is now available for download via the Nintendo eShop after purchase so players can play the game immediately the moment it is released, instead of waiting for it to download on launch day.

hyrule-warriors-age-of-calamity-screenshot-015-4671639

While details about the upcoming game are scarce, Nintendo has unveiled several information about the freebies releasing alongside the game. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity’s in-game preorder bonus announcement was met with laughter when Nintendo tweeted that fans that availed the game early will be equipped with a pot lid and a ladle.

In a more classical move, Nintendo has revealed that they will be re-releasing the Amiibos for the four Champions from Breath of the Wild Revali, Mipha, Urbosa, and Daruk when the game will be released. Information like these is good for the game’s fans to get an idea of what to expect from the game however, it is not an ideal measurement.

hyrule-warriors-1-696x456-5453011

It seems like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will have a decent amount of content. However, whether this is enough to satisfy fans over those who aren’t patient enough waiting for more details about Breath of the Wild 2 remains to be seen. The best way to find this out will be to watch for details during this week’s Tokyo Game Show.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is now available for preload and will be released on November 20, 2020, for the Nintendo Switch.

Nioh 2 Darkness in the Capital Expansion Coming this October

nioh-2
nioh-2

Nioh 2’s second expansion, Darkness in the Capital, will be released this October, promising to give more amazing new content to a title that is already filled with replay value. The first game of the franchise, 2017’s Nioh, was a breath of fresh air for fans of the Dark Souls-like genre which featured the fusion of the impressive action playstyle by developer Team Ninja with detailed combat gameplay alongside distinct Japanese aesthetics.

Nioh 2 enhanced on all virtual aspects of the original game and the launched of its first expansion, The Tengu’s Disciple, confirmed that the developers still have a lot of engaging stories to tell and even more difficult tasks in store.

Similar to the first game, Nioh 2 will also get three DLCs in total. The first expansion featured the protagonist traveling back to the past to meet Minamoto no Yoshitsune – the previous owner of the legendary sword Sohayamaru that players can acquire at the end of Nioh 2.

The expansion gave players access to new weapons, armors, and a few new locations to explore, similar to Nioh’s first DLC. If Nioh 2 follows the same recipe, fans can anticipate two more expansions, with the third DLC closing the storyline which started in The Tengu’s Disciple and adding an iteration of The Abyss – a 999-floor challenge where players can improve and test their skills.

Based on a post on the PlayStation Blog, the second expansion, Darkness in the Capital, will begin its story where the first DLC left off. In addition to the continued plot and greater difficulty, the DLC will also include “new storylines, overwhelmingly powerful new bosses, tricky new Yokai, new Guardian Spirits, skills, Ninjutsu, Onmyo Magic, and Soul Cores.”

It will also provide players with new armor sets and an exclusive weapon crafted to excel in hand-to-hand combat. The DLC is also in line with 2017 Nioh’s second expansion, although Nioh 2’s more comprehensive gameplay, weapons,T and storyline mean that the Darkness in the Capital DLC has more outlets to discover when it comes to releasing new content.

As far as the story goes, the upcoming expansion will feature the protagonist going to Kyoto City, where they will again travel to the past to meet other iconic heroes while slaying demons along the way. They will continue deciphering the Sohayamaru sword’s secrets and try to look for answers about the protagonist’s mysterious origins while slaying countless demons, of course.

While it’s improbable to learn precisely what the developers are planning in terms of particular items included to the game, one thing that’s guaranteed is that the Darkness in the Capital DLC will introduce ethereal items into the game which is one level of rarity better than the items that are available in the game so far. This means players will have the ability to craft totally new weapons and armors which they would likely need to defeat the new bosses.

In light of the lasting fame of samurai games which has been epitomized further by Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the Nioh franchise is a constant reminder that Team Ninja are still masters of their craft.

With the launch of Darkness in the Capital, fans of the Nioh franchise will have more reasons to go back into the world of Japan’s Sengoku-era and test their skills against the developer’s newest round of challenges.
