As you may or may not know, the Xbox One X will be released before the year ends. Without a doubt, gamers of all ages will rush to get their hands on this video game console. Sad to say, though, that this will mean that the Xbox One will slowly become something of the past.
Speaking of the past, Wonder Woman 1984 will be released in theaters by October 2 and the official Xbox Twitter page has announced that you can now enter a competition for a chance to win a Wonder Woman 1984-inspired Xbox One X display. The official announcement is as follows:

NBA 2K21 is releasing soon, here is everything you need to know.
2K is a fan favorite when it comes to the video game for the NBA over the past few years. 2K has even edged out its main competition EA Sports which led to NBA Live not making an appearance this year. 2K has revolutionized the sports video games with an in-depth MyCareer game mode and has led other games to copy a similar formula in recent years.
While 2K has dominated the market, they know they need to improve. So we see NBA 2K21 having some new features and improved gameplay. We will dive deeper into the improvements below. It’s also noteworthy that 2K21 will be available for the next-gen consoles when Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 release this holiday season.
Now that the basics covered let’s dive into what you will get when buying NBA 2K21.
NBA 2K21 will drop on September 4, 2020. The next-gen versions will release alongside the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Microsoft and Sony have not yet stated official release dates for either console. though, both are planned to debut late November. The next-gen versions of NBA 2K21 will be available when the new consoles come in November.
NBA 2K21 comes in four flavors this year. How to upgrade NBA 2K21 to next-gen
There is good news and bad news for those who want to upgrade their 2K21 from the current generation to the next. The good news is that it is possible with the Mamba Forever Edition though not possible if you buy the Standard Edition.
Note that you can only upgrade to next-gen only if you stay within the console family (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X). You will receive the Zion Williamson Digital Collection for free when upgrading to the next-gen version of the game. This offer is available for both physical and digital copies.
NBA 2K21 gameplay changes
In a Courtside Report update, 2K stated that cover star Damian Lillard made some suggestions that would improve the game. One is that your MyCareer player can now reach an increased maximum height of 6’8. Some additional minor updates were also included in what 2K calls “fun-ifying” the game.
They also stated that the Pro Stick has improved jump shooting. An addition to shooting in 2K21 is Shot Stick Aiming. This feature was in NBA 2K17, but the company says it has improved on it based on user feedback. There are also 40 new Park jump shot landings added.
Horizon Zero Dawn PC patch 1.02 fixes crashes that have prevented some players from accessing the game at all. The PC version of Horizon looks fantastic, but it suffers from hard crashes which seem to vary greatly between hardware setups.
Patch 1.02 targets these directly, although it does not fix everything, developers Guerilla Games stated that it addressed the “more infuriating” crashes around.
Here are the key patch notes:
Fixed an issue where some players would crash during their first game boot when the ‘game optimization’ screen is active and they ran out of disc space.
Fixed an issue where some players would crash if they updated their video drivers after the game was already optimized previously.
Fixed an issue where some players would crash during gameplay because of memory incorrectly being overwritten.
Fixed an issue where some players would crash during gameplay due to a texture unstreaming bug.
Improved crash report flow and messaging. Each crash now includes an identifier you can use to communicate with our Customer Support.
Added more features to improve diagnostic data collection when submitting a crash report.
It also addresses performance dips that are experienced during auto-saving and locked V-sync in borderless windowed mode. Broken facial animations due to FPS limits have also been addressed and excess memory usage that is tied to the shaders.
Guerilla Games has previously stated that improving the PC version is its “highest priority” as shown by its updated report system, that encourages players to continue reporting issues, be it big and small.
Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers beta dropped on all platforms (the PS4 got it the earliest) and dataminers are hard at work and have started to dig through the files of the PC version.
Apparently they have found some clues about upcoming characters. According to a report by IGN, 15 previously unannounced playable characters have been referenced in the game files.
As found on two different Reddit threads, the listed characters in the code have the prefix UnlockPlayableCharacter. The full list includes the following Marvel heroes:

Peter Parker, by all accounts, refers to the PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man. Other new fan-favorites such as Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Scarlet Witch.
Some fans are guessing that characters like War Machine and Hulkbuster will be reskinned allowing players to get around the restriction that prevents two of the same character from participating in a mission.
Hawkeye has already been confirmed to be the first post-launch DLC character to arrive in the game. One user dug deeper into the game files and found that Black Panther, She-Hulk, Kate Bishop, and Winter Soldier have the most files under there name, indicating that they will be ready to add to the game sooner than others.
Since the Season 9 update in Call Of Duty: Mobile the Molotov was changed from a scorestreak into a lethal plus a damage increase. The Molotov could now kill even on impact. Honestly, nobody realized how this was going to change the game.
The Garena version released some new patch notes. Apart from the much needed Molotov nerf, the QQ9 also got a nerf. It was a fan-favorite this season being the best SMG plus the Gunsmith made it into an overpowered weapon. The mag capacity of the Cordite was also changed.

Blizzard sent a promotional email to The news site Charlie Intel who was the first to announce that Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be a Batle.net exclusive. This should not come as a surprise to longtime followers of the franchise as previous titles such as Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, are also Battle.net exclusives.
The email also confirmed that the Black Ops Cold War PC version is being handled by Canadian developer Beenox. Since 2015 the company has contributed to a number of Activision games, including Modern Warfare and the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster.

This year’s Call Of Duty is set to get its full reveal via the Verdansk map in Warzone on Wednesday, August 26. More information about the game, including its release date and next-gen support, is expected to be revealed during the showcase.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League sees Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang set against a dark and evil version of the Justice League led by a purple-eyed evil version of Superman.
Developed by Rocksteady, it is slated for a 2022 release and is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Gotham Knights will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One since it is a cross-gen release, while The new anti-hero game will not.
We got some gameplay in the Gotham Knights reveal but all we got for Suicide Squad is a cinematic trailer (see below). Both games have a co-op component that allows players to play solo or with friends online.
The difference between both games is that while there are four playable characters in both games, Suicide Squad has a four-player co-op while Gotham Knights only has two-player.
A mod made by “i dont feel playing” called “Dota 2 but League Heroes” takes the roster of League of Legends champions and puts them into one of Valve’s most popular multiplayer games.
The characters are matched to Dota 2 characters that are similar or as close to what the League of Legends champions skills are, so Meepo as Teemo, Annie as Lina, etc. LoL content creator Buba “RossBoomSocks” Corelli took a look at the modification on-stream and gave his seal of approval.
RossBoomSocks commented that they actually look better in Dota 2 while playing using a team of Teemo, Nami, Tristana, Annie, and Veigar. There are some slight glitches like Annie being a bit too short for her corresponding model.
Being primarily a League player, he talks about the bigger differences Dota 2 and LoL, like Dota 2 having custom games that might make mods like this interesting to keep up with. “Just thinking in my head, all the fun stuff you could do if League had a custom games thing, and a custom lobby,” and he adds, “There’s items in Dota 2 that you’d never see in a million years on League of Legends, I’m looking forward to trying them out.”
The typical length of a Dota 2 game did wear him out at the end, he suggested that a players stamina might be a weakness in the crossover. “It was very, very fun in the beginning,” and continues, “But oh boy that was a long game, and that’s all I’m saying.”
Cyberpunk 2077, the most anticipated game this year, will offer free DLC when it finally releases on November 19.
The developer CD Projekt Red responded to a question that asked if Cyberpunk 2077 will offer free downloadable content similar to how they did it with The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt with this:
If it will follow The Witcher 3’s DLC model, this likely means that there will be free DLC in addition to paid content. The comments show plenty of fans are happy to know there is free DLC on the way as well.
Rampart Season six’s newest character in Apex Legends will be getting a brand new “Custom Finish”. Twitch Prime is giving it for free as a reward for August.
