Ahead of Facebook Connect this Wednesday, September 16, at least one of the company’s most awaited hardware reveals has been leaked – a newer version of the famous, standalone VR headset Oculus Quest.

Information about the new VR headset called the Oculus Quest 2 has leaked on Facebook’s Blueprint website. The leak included the Oculus Quest 2’s specs and design upgrades which were featured in two promo videos. While a few of this information has been taken down the site, several still remain including the videos.

According to the leaked description, the Oculus Quest 2 is a smaller and lighter headset compared to the original. The screen of the Oculus Quest 2 will also have a better resolution with 2K per eye which is a 50% enhancement in pixels over the original.

In addition, the Oculus Quest 2 will also sport a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 CPU, 6GB RAM, and 3D positional audio. The controllers have also been upgraded to become more comfortable to grip.

The Oculus Quest 2 will come in a 256GB configuration but it is still unclear how big the default storage will be for the base model is going to be. All existing games from the original Oculus Quest will also work on the Oculus Quest 2 and will also support Oculus Link which allows it to work as a PC headset.

Unfortunately, the leaks didn’t contain the product’s price and release date. However, based on previous rumors, the Oculus Quest 2 will be available in the market on the same day as Facebook Connect.

More information will be released this Wednesday at Facebook Connect. Tune in to our website for more updates.

New Max Raid Event Launched in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Pokemon Sword and Shield are running an exclusive Max Raid event highlighting Grass and Lighting Pokemon. The event will run until September 30 and will let players catch several powerful Gigantamax-capable Pokemon and at it to their collection.

In Pokemon Sword and Shield, Max Raid Battles allow players to team up in groups of four and fight powerful Gigantamaxed Pokemon. Even if a player has already completed their Pokedex, joining a Max Raid Battle is still beneficial.

Pokemon caught via Max Raid Battles usually have better stats, have Hidden Abilities, and can access Gigantamax form. Player can always raise the stats of their Pokemon via Hyper Training and even let them learn how to Gigantamax via Max Soups, but one lucky Max Raid catch makes these processes worthless.

The new event showcases several Electric and Grass Dynamaxed Pokemon including Boltund, Yamper, Heliosk, Helioptile, Eldegoss, Gossifleur, Ferrothorn, and Ferroseed. Players will also be able to catch Toxtricity, Flapple, and Appletun in their Gigantamax forms as well as their pre-evolutionary forms – Applin and Toxel.

Applin is really easy to catch but has a tricky evolution so having the opportunity to catch its evolutions directly will come in handy for players looking to complete their Pokedex. Both Appletun/Flapple and Toxtricity have complex Gigantamax forms.

Toxtricity has two forms – Amped Form and Low Key form. In addition to a unique moveset, only the Amped form has access to the Plus ability while Low Key mode only has access to the Minus ability. Both forms look the same when in Gigantamax form and have the same G-max move called G-Max Stun Shock. For Flapple and Appletun, both share the same Gigantamax appearance but each has a different G-Max move. Flapple has G-Max Tartness while Appletun has G-Max Sweetness.

The consistent rotation of Max Raid events provides players more access to powerful Pokemon which leads to a more diverse competitive team. Now that Game Freak has banned Pokemon that has been used in last year’s official tournaments, most trainers are hungry to find new Pokemon which can be used in this year’s Pokemon Video Game Championships.

Xbox Series S will not support Xbox One X Improvements for Backward Compatible Games

The reveal of the Xbox Series S might be the biggest surprise gamers had for the past few weeks. This next-gen console will just cost $299 compared to the Xbox Series X’s stiff $499 release price, but with a guaranteed next-gen performance of 1080p to 1440p resolution.

At $200 cheaper, fans know that the Xbox Series S will have limitations compared to the Series X. However, they didn’t think that the Series S will not be receiving the same enhancements made for the Xbox One X.

xbox-lockhart-8106800

In a press release made by Microsoft, the company explains that the Series S was built to be the cheapest next-gen console ever designed. This perhaps indicates that the past games are not that much of a priority.

Microsoft stated that “To deliver the highest quality backward compatible experience consistent with the developer’s original intent,” the Series S will operate Xbox One S versions of backward compatible titles.

Despite this, Microsoft guarantees that the Series S will still apply “improved texture filtering, higher and move consistent frame rates, faster load times, and Auto HDR” whenever applicable. These performance enhancements will differ broadly from game to game and there will be no guarantees that any given title will receive these improvements.

The Xbox One X is Microsoft’s prevailing mid-gen console for the Xbox One generation. Considering the Xbox One usually had a hard time with reaching even 1080p resolutions at 30fps, the Xbox One X became a huge leap forward in console performance, which offers native 4K resolution.

Game developers even take advantage of this feature by giving Xbox One X exclusive updates. To say that these updates were typically considerable would be an understatement, this is why fans are quite frustrated that the Series S will not be supporting them.

maxresdefault-5772342

However, this is quite logical since the Xbox One X enhancements were already done by the game developers or by the third-party studio. In addition, they were created exclusively for the Xbox One X console. For these to work on the new Series S, developers would have to revamp the games completely for the new console. This just proves that the differences between the Xbox Series S and Xbox One X are too significant.

Riot Reveals How Many Valorant Agents They Want To Release

beta-key-art_valorant

At the moment, Valorant only has 12 Agents you can choose from. However, the Riot devs have recently revealed how many Agents they want to release in the future and that is 50 to 60 Agents in total.

You might think that’s a lot, but Riot is already planning to release at least six Agents this year – one for every Act. They’ve been hitting their goals in that department so far with the release of Reyna and Killjoy, and a third Agent is making its way to the game on October 13.

l10_sillos_final

In a Reddit thread, developer ‘Pwyff’ answered some questions that fans have, including an answer as to what the perfect Agent-roster balance is.

screenshot-pvplive-net-2020-09-14-18_38_20

If Riot wants to continue releasing six Agents per year, it will take them approximately six to eight years before they will be able to reach their 50-60 goal. It may not be as much as Siege’s goal of 100 Operators, but it’s still a daunting task nevertheless.

With that in mind, the Valorant devs have also mentioned that they consider Dota 2’s Hero system as a potential model for the FPS game. It’s somewhat ironic to think about, given the fact that Riot has developed over 150 League of Legends Champions yet they are looking to Dota 2 for inspiration.

screenshot-playvalorant-com-2020-09-14-18_45_42

That being said, Riot has already started making balancing decisions for Valorant, as can be seen when they nerfed Sage in a recent patch. It was revealed that this decision also freed up space in the game to allow for more Agents in the future.

If Riot Games truly wants to be relevant in the gaming community for the long haul, then it’s best that they begin building their roster of Agents with variety and diversity in mind, as this will only add to the game’s strategy and depth.

Gotham Knights was announced last month and at the moment, it appears to be the next big DC game. Gotham Knights takes place following Batman’s death and his extended Bat-family are now the ones responsible for battling the villains and keeping Gotham’s streets safe.

This highly-anticipated DC title is by WB Montreal, which is the team responsible for Batman Arkham OriginsThis game will have all kinds of features, such as online co-op, which will allow you to team up against the villains terrorizing Gotham.

That said, fans have been wondering about Gotham Knights’ cosmetics, since there wasn’t a lot of information about that before. Will they have to unlock skins through loot, or purchase DLCs?

Fortunately, WB Montreal as pretty transparent regarding this matter when creative director Patrick Redding spoke with Comicbook.com.

screenshot-pvplive-net-2020-09-14-17_57_49In other words, the base game itself will contain a lot of content already that players won’t miss out on anything if they do decide that they don’t want to use up extra cash for DLCs.

That said, it’s definitely interesting to see where WB Montreal stands when it comes to DLCs, since many fans have been saying that Gotham Knights will probably end up like Marvel’s Avengers wherein you are encouraged to fork over real cash.

Hopefully, Redding’s words will ease some of the fans’ worries regarding this upcoming third-person action RPG.

Gotham Knights will be launched this 2021 on various gaming platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Destiny 2 Players Unhappy With New Gear Designs

Destiny 2’s 12th season is almost upon us, and with it comes new ritual and adept weapons that can be acquired through quests. These new gear aren’t available just yet, but Bungie already released the official designs and some players aren’t impressed.

In order to maintain, if not increase the hype, Bungie has been revealing Destiny 2: Beyond Light information bit by bit before its official release date. Some of the most recent reveals are the armor and weapons designs, both of which are receiving a lot of criticism.

In fact, some fans say that they prefer the old designs, or that these new ones are unoriginal and creatively lackluster.

Fans were extremely excited for the Adept weapons to make its way to Destiny 2, especially since they were very popular in Destiny 1. In the first Destiny game, these weapons could be achieved by players who got Flawless during the Trials of Osiris.

When these Trials made its way to Destiny 2, long-time players were looking forward to getting Adept weapons, only to be disappointed that they were not available in the Flawless chests.

Adept weapons are finally making its way to the game this upcoming season, however, the fans are concerned with what Beyond Light has to offer.

The fans’ main complaint is that the weapon looks pretty much just like an old design that’s poorly wrapped in a purple bandanna. Some seem to think that the bandanna is a cool addition, but most players are disappointed.

On the other hand, fans are also comparing the rare armor found in Destiny 1 vs. Destiny 2’s upcoming core activity armor. Twitter user @DestinyNostalgia states that they’re generally a huge fan of Destiny 2’s art team, but this new armor isn’t appealing nor exciting.

Although there are some fans who have rushed to defend Destiny 2, it’s definitely safe to say that the upcoming gear for Beyond Light has mostly been negative. Hopefully, Bungie will be able to win back these disappointed fans once they actually try out the expansion.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be available for the PC, PS4, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this November 10. A PS5 version is also in the works.

Fans Speculate That Final Fantasy 16 Reveal Might Come Soon

A couple of years have passed since the release of the previous installment for the main Final Fantasy series, and fans are left curious about what the next sequel will be as well as when it will be announced. The Final Fantasy franchise has been a pretty long one, with each game getting better and better visually.

As such, it’s not surprising that each game takes a very long time to develop. In fact, Final Fantasy XV was under development for more or less ten years before it was released to the world. However, this may not be the case for highly-anticipated Final Fantasy 16.

There has been some new information that implies that we may be getting an update regarding the game soon. Sometime in August, it was discovered that there was a Final Fantasy XVI account created on Twitter. As such, many fans believed that an announcement would surely be made at some point.

09_cloud_rapid_en-9338092

Of course, this didn’t seem that valid of a proof and no other proof surfaced in order to support the fans’ theories. That is, until Shinji Hashimoto retweeted something that made fans go into a frenzy.

If you’re not familiar with who he is, Shinji Hashimoto is the Brand Manager for the Final Fantasy franchise and is also a part of Square Enix. Earlier, Hashimoto retweeted announcements regarding the PS5 showcase that will be taking place this month.

According to the avid fans, Hashimoto wouldn’t normally do something like that unless a big project he is a part of is related to the event. As such, fans have speculated that a Final Fantasy-related announcement could be a part of the showcase.

14_fire2_en-8269285

With that in mind, it’s worth noting that this is complete speculation at this point so it’s best to take this with a grain of salt. Also, if Final Fantasy 16 does get announced, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the game will be released on time.

For instance, the Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced in 2015 and kept getting delayed before finally getting released back in April of this year.

In any case, we’re still pretty excited to see what games the PS5 showcase will reveal, whether or not Final Fantasy 16 will be included. Although, if we’re being honest, we’re definitely hoping that the title will be included among the games shown during the event.

Tips for Goldenslot

Goldenslot is becoming one of the most popular online casino platforms throughout Asia, offering a diverse set of games for avid slots fans. Complicated games, like baccarat or blackjack, have no place on this website. If you’re all for simpler thrills, Goldenslot is for you.

Goldenslot is easy to navigate, and the games’ mechanics are straightforward. Still, you should familiarise yourself with the basics and remain aware of a few rules. Many players earn serious money, and you can expect to win a fortune if you play your slots right.

About Goldenslot

Goldenslot features a unique reward scheme with plenty of bonuses, which makes the platform stand out among its competitors. For a preview of what you can expect from Goldenslot, we’ll take a look at The Golden Hen (interchangeably labeled as “The Rooster”), one of the more popular games.

Including prizes in the free bonus game round, this game provides up to 243 possibilities of winning. There are five kinds of results in the bonus rounds, and the number “5” duplicates the types of bonus rounds available for every play.

At 97.22%, the game’s Return-to-Player (RTP) is among the highest on the site. It places a great advantage on the player’s court.

For points, you will need to pay close attention to the following symbols because these items predict your chances of winning:

The Golden Hen Game Symbols

  • Wild

The rooster represents the wild symbol. For every character that shows up on Reels 2, 3, and 4, the rooster may act as a substitute.

  • Free Scatters

The lucky coin represents a scatter effect. If you chance upon these symbols consecutively, your bet multiplies by the designated amount.

  • Free Spins

Free spins are precisely that: you receive another turn without having to shell out any credits. A scatter is more favorable than a free spin, but then you’re losing coins for every extra spin. The free spin provides a break from your continuous expenses, especially for the inevitable days when you’re on a downward streak.

Strategic Game Rules

Goldenslot’s rules are straightforward, and any beginner can pick up the gist of it as they play along. In this article, we’re not going to talk about the most basic rules—with Goldenslot, it is easy to adapt to the variations.

Instead, we’ll explain the underlying ideas behind Goldenslot’s interface. You’ll find this helpful when encountering the variety of characters used in the reels that move around in-game.

Your main button is the spin catch. You can choose to set it up for autoplay and let the reels roll on their own until they hit a favorable combination. You won’t have to worry about pay lines because there are an impressive 243 combinations to win.

You’ll be looking at beans and dairy animals, which should not appear beside each other. We recommend that you spin as many as 250 coins when the reels show more symbols that look alike (not a mixture of beans and animals). You can spin as low as 0.25 coins for when there are far fewer matching reels on display because then, the chances of a win are considerably less profitable.

You can roll for a single spin using a specified amount of coins, but you are not able to decide on the total number of coins used (although you can manipulate the coin’s value).

The winnings for this game can range from thousands to tens of thousands. Given a particular set of reel combinations, you can rack anywhere from $2,000.00 up to $20,000.00 in a single play.

There are multipliers within the game that maximize your earnings. You can choose a “5X” multiplier on any of the current reels’ winning symbols, and these may form a combination that can earn you up to $100,000.

To capitalize on your winnings, you will want to take advantage of the “activate bonus” feature wherever possible. If you remember the scatters, these are the images that should be foremost on your radar.

Try your best to land three of these special symbols on any of Reels 2, 3 and 4, and watch the magic happen. Once that rooster appears, and the chimes start ringing, you’ll achieve some of the biggest wins.

For integrity and consistency, Goldenslot sticks to its rules meticulously, especially the 243-winning-ways-rule. Mastering its rulebook is crucial so that you’ll know the smartest gambles for success.

Final Tips

When it comes to flashy and high-quality slot games like this one, your best bet is to understand its mechanics. Once mastered, you can rely on the following tips to increase your chances of winning:

Stick to the Most Comfortable Machine

It may feel strange when one machine feels “luckier” to you compared to the others. Ignore the peculiarity of that notion, and stick to your favorite virtual slot. Sometimes, you’re better off continuing that winning streak.

Don’t Press that Slot Button Too Fast

You can always activate the autoplay button, but if your luck continues going downhill, stop and give yourself a break. There’s no rhyme or rhythm to RNG-driven games, so don’t beat yourself up for accumulating losses. Once you’re in a better mood, try your luck again.

Bow Out Gracefully

Have you heard of that one gambler who won a good streak, land an exorbitant jackpot, and ended up losing it all in the same night? Don’t be that person.

Follow the simple three-turn rule: If your winning streak falls short by three consecutive losses, it’s time for you to collect your prize, bow out, and enjoy your lucky earnings elsewhere.

Goldenslot brings the thrill and excitement of classic slots games to your mobile devices. With enhanced features and crisp visuals, this platform will keep you fully entertained in the location of your choice. The site’s developers continue to improve the features that make Goldenslot secure, so you can enjoy your favorite games without risking your information.

Keep the symbol guides and rules in mind, and you’ll be well on your way to a profitable Goldenslot extravaganza.

Square Enix Reveals Special NieR Events for September

0
ss_8b29f7e1ce9a8b9313dc3eb50dbe76a4cf94eef9-1920x1080

Video game director Yoko Taro is known for doing things his own way, and this brand-new event announcement for the Nier franchise showcases that perfectly. Based on a recent tweet made by the Nier’s official Twitter account, they’ll be participating in the online Tokyo Game Show 2020 event.

Square Enix named the first event as the “We Have a Decent Amount of New Info” special, and you can watch it on September 24 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. On September 26 at the same time, they will have the second event which they named the “Mostly No New Info” special.

As mentioned in their tweet above, several people whom we know to have worked with Yoko Taro will also be present in the events. The release of Nier: Automata to the Western world brought success and recognition to Yoko. As a result, the Nier franchise diversified, although in a pretty confusing way.

That being said, we’re hoping that these upcoming events will offer new information on NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, which is an upcoming version of the original Nier game that will be playable on current gaming systems such as PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the trailer for that below.

The announcement also implies that we’ll be getting information and updates regarding 2017’s Nier: Automata and Nier: Reincarnation, which is a mobile game that’s currently in the works and will supposedly have ties to the series.

Nier: Automata has been very successful since its release, so it’s pretty understandable that we’re expecting a follow-up game sometime in the future. After all, the title sold over 4.5 million copies. Given what we know about Yoko Taro though, a sequel to Nier: Automata probably wouldn’t be a direct continuation to the game.

That said, we’re definitely excited to see what these upcoming September events have in store for us. Don’t forget to mark your calendars!
