Red Dead Redemption 2 Fan Finds Hidden In-Game Cutscene

0

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of those games that has an extremely expansive open world. It offers so much to players, such as all kinds of areas to explore, random encounters with enemies, along with side content that you don’t want to miss.

The title is so expansive that it’s full of surprises, so much so that even though the game has been out for two years now, players are still finding secrets and Easter eggs while playing.

Red Dead Redemption 2 features a much bigger map compared to Red Dead 1 – approximately four times the size, actually. As such, it doesn’t come as a surprise that it harbors dark secrets. For instance, one fan discovered a dead corpse in Micah’s hideout.

screenshot-www-rockstargames-com-2020-09-21-07_54_12

The game and the developers didn’t skimp out on content, so there’s a lot for the players to uncover and encounter while playing the game.

That being said, one player slash YouTuber known as “cad5150” recently discovered a hidden interrogation cutscene in Red Dead Redemption 2. This scene can be triggered during one of the missions you are tasked to do in the game.

In this mission, Arthur Morgan, who is the protagonist, and Charles Smith are responsible for tracking down Josiah Trelawny. In the middle of the mission, the two characters encounter two men who are camping in a nearby forest.

If Arthur decides to shoot and kill one of those men, this will trigger a special cutscene.

Since there is one other guy still alive, Arthur will shoot at the ground very near the man’s feet until he eventually discloses to Arthur what he saw.

This is a very interesting option to have in-game since if you have played Red Dead Redemption 2 before, you’ll know that killing off an NPC or any character that’s not related to your ongoing mission usually leads to failure.

As such, this is why this cutscene is considered to be a part of RDR2’s hidden secrets. In any case, it’s really quite impressive how players are still finding various secrets and Easter eggs in the game years after its launch.

We can really see how much effort and time the developers put into the game given the level of polish and detail it has. Each and every person who played a part in the creation of this game truly deserve a round of applause.

If they’re lucky, more players might be able to find other secrets that haven’t been discovered yet in the game as well as find answers to unsolved mysteries. For instance, there was previously a Tumbleweed mystery that players just didn’t know what to make of. Fortunately, fans were able to figure out the story behind it.

Given the vastness and complexity of the game, we won’t be surprised if more secrets get discovered for many years to come.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set in 1899 America, during a time when the Wild West era was beginning to end. It’s available to play on multiple platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.

Following a depressing PlayStation 5 preorder process, Sony apologized and has guaranteed that more PlayStation 5 consoles will be available for preorder in the next coming days and that even more will be available before the year ends.

PlayStation posted on their official Twitter account to apologize to fans saying that:

According to Sony, preorders were supposed to begin the day after the PlayStation 5 live streaming event. The showcase revealed the next-gen console’s release date and price along with trailers for new games including Final Fantasy XVI, a God of War sequel, Hogwarts Legacy, and more.

However, vendors started catering preorders the same night as the live event which led to crashing websites and a lot of people were disappointed because they weren’t able to get one. Even those who got a PlayStation 5 preorder weren’t guaranteed if they could get the console because vendors like Amazon are starting to send out emails saying they might not be able to deliver the system on the launch day of November 20, 2020.

Fortunately, it looks like fans will get another chance at getting one for this holiday season. However, fans will still have to tune in for updates on when the preorders will go live again.

Sony reveals file sizes for Demon’s Souls and Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Sony has announced the first estimated file sizes for PlayStation 5 launch titles Demon’s Souls and Spider-Man: Miles Morales which could take up to 20% of the next-gen console’s SSD.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales standard edition will need at least 50 GB while Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition will require at least 105 GB of memory since it includes a remaster of 2018’s PlayStation 4 Spider-Man.

On the other hand, Demon’s Soul – a remake of the 2009 PlayStation 3 game – will take up 66 GB of the PlayStation 5’s SSD. Players who will buy both Demon’s Soul and Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition digitally will need 171 GB of memory.

This information is important for players to know especially if they are going to prefer purchasing the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. The PlayStation 5 launch consoles will only have 825 GB so assuming that the file size of these games doesn’t change, will take 20% of the SSD.

There are also other PlayStation 5 first-party games available during launch including Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Destruction All-Stars, and Astro’s Playroom as well as third-party titles such as Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Watch Dogs Legion, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

There will also be backward compatible games like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Cyberpunk 2077 which will also be available within the first week of the PlayStation 5’s release. Players must take note of their system’s memory because fans already how big Call of Duty file sizes can get.

League of Legends 2020 Victorious Skin Leaked

league-of-legends

The League of Legends 2020 ranked season is almost at its end. As a tradition, all players who have reached a rank of Gold or higher will receive a free Victorious skin as a present from the developers.

Fans had no clue about which champion will sport the new Victorious skin nor how the skin would look like – until yesterday when a League of Legends’ official Taiwanese Facebook account leaked the 2020 Victorious skin.

Two images have been uploaded on the social media site. The first one features a golden chest plate with blue shining gems and blue stripes which hardly gives fans an idea which champion is wearing it.

125107-eiijy7-waaen9zm-orig-1-article_image_bd-1-8885092

However, looking closely at the photo, there are a couple of dreadlocks hanging around the champion’s neck which might specify that the lucky hero could be Lucian due to the fact that he is the only champion with this kind of hairstyle in the game.

The second image shows a gun made from the same materials of the chest plate along with the arm and leg of the champion dressed with similar shapes and colors which perfectly fits the theory that Lucian will receive the 2020 Victorious skin.

125108-eiimhsrwaaaemst-orig-1-article_image_bd-1-6827584

Some fans are talking about the possibility that the featured champion will be Jhin rather than Lucian since the hero also uses a gun and that the dreadlocks are not actually what fans think, it might be a part of a new mask for the champion Jhin.

Developer Riot Games hasn’t made any official announcements or confirmation that the leaked photos are true and all of these might just be rumors. Last year, players received Aatrox’s Victorious skin. Players who want to receive this season’s free will have until November 24 to reach Gold rank before this season ends.

Activision has launched a new event for Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 – Hunt for Makarov. In the event, players are tasked to hunt Makarov who left Zakhaev Airport and hid in the jungle for protection.

Recently, other Call of Duty titles took the limelight. While a new Warzone mobile game was leaked through a job listing, the excitement for Black Ops Cold War is consistently growing after multiple gameplay reveals.

To keep players engrossed on their mobile phones, Activision launched a new event for Season 10.

Hunt for Makarov

This new event is the main reason why Call of Duty Mobile’s Season 10 is titled “The Hunt”. The infamous villain Vladimir Makarov is hiding in a jungle near the airport.

Players must go through several missions in order to find Makarov’s location. The answer to succeeding the mission is to gather Exploration Points by participating in a battle royale and various multiplayer modes.

The amount of Exploration Points differs depending on the game mode and map. To earn the maximum amount of points, players should choose to play on the Terminal and Pine maps while in Headquarters mode.

At the end of each game, Exploration Points earned will be displayed as binoculars. At any time, players can check their progress via a dedicated tab in the main menu. Players will have until September 31 to finish all twelve quests and find Makarov.

Rewards

codm-s10-hunt-makarov-1024x576-2315919

Players receive a certain reward for every mission completed by unlocking them through Exploration Points. Some points will come along with photos of Vladimir Makarove which can be traded for a First Horseman frame.

Rewards that can be received through this event include calling cards and weapon/equipment skins. The complete rewards are listed below:

  • Smoke Grenade – Forest Felt
  • SMRS – Forest Felt
  • S36 – Iridescent
  • Backpack one – Iridescent
  • Striker – Forest Felt
  • Frag Grenade – Forest Felt
  • Knife – Iridescent
  • Ninja – Forest Felt
  • Beastly Pursuit – Calling Card
  • Man-O-War – Iridescent
  • BK57 – Forest Felt

Finishing the twelfth mission rewards players with the M4 Feral Stalker weapon skin. Players should consider taking on these quests because these rewards are unique and can’t be received in any other way.

The new Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 event also comes with a comic released every week and can be accessed through the Battle Pass menu. Using this cross-media strategy allows the developers to go deeper in detail and allow both legacy old and new fans to enjoy it at the same time.

4 Benefits of Using React CMS

Content delivery has experienced significant changes since websites were being built by scratch with HTML and CSS. Using a CMS has made it more efficient to create, organize and distribute content. However, as people started using different devices, there became a need to develop and manage content that could be delivered to a PC, phone, tablet or smartwatch. Using React CMS provides this functionality and offers several benefits.

Solving the Problem of Distributing Content to Multiple Devices

Using a headless CMS allows you to manage and serve content via an API to various devices. It decouples the UI and data management to provide flexibility in the way content is displayed. This allows you to choose the technology you use and the look and feel of your data. Contentful probably sums it up best with this quote, “Simply get all your data in a structured way (or at least the data you initially need, think about loading times) and render it on the fly.” Along with the API, you’re able to use the framework you like best, which is where using React CMS can be beneficial. This eliminates the need to manage a database or use a backend script to render your site. Simply put by Contentful, “API-first CMSs separates your content management from the content display, thus enabling an easier understanding of what is going.”

Using a Virtual DOM Helps Performance

Typically, manipulating the DOM can lead to web performance issues, especially as websites have become more dynamic. To solve this problem, it can help to use React CMS, which utilizes a virtual DOM. If you need to make a change to content, it’s reflected in the virtual DOM first. Then the diffing algorithm checks for differences using a step-by-step process, comparing differences in child elements. When differences are noted, only those objects that differ are updated on the actual DOM, which speeds up performance

Code Reusability

Component-Based Architecture (CBA ) is another factor that makes using this framework easier for developers to maintain and grow a codebase. Components are reusable, which can help provide consistency. Several small components can be used to make up a larger component. Each of these small components interacts independently from the other. This can make it easier to respond quickly when editing needs to be completed. Content can be enhanced through a third-party API and reused across different channels, enabling you with real-time integration.

Combines Flexibility With Readability

JSX is a syntax extension used with this framework when building components. It allows code and HTML/XML-like text to coexist. You can easily mix data objects with rich text due to the flexibility of CBA and the readability of HTML. XML syntax is added to JavaScript, which can boost maintainability and readability. This can also help standardize your codebase and make it more efficient to organize, which can be highly beneficial over the long term.

Growing Ecosystem

Utilizing this framework will provide you with one of the most advanced JavaScript libraries. In addition, its popularity should help create growth in its ecosystem, which is always helpful to have when one of your goals is to increase efficiency. React CMS also has continued support from technical experts at Facebook, which helps keep it up-to-date and easier to use.

Choosing this framework to help you build a CMS and deliver content should make it more effective for you to provide information to users.

Call of Duty Mobile Anniversary Events Leaked

1st_anniversary_vyt0rrt

As of writing, Call of Duty Mobile is currently in its tenth season. Next month, the game will be achieving its first year anniversary in the mobile gaming industry thus, fans are expecting that Call of Duty Mobile’s eleventh season will be full of celebratory events.

Based on rumors, the special anniversary season of CODM will be filled with a lot of huge events. Reports are also suggesting that the Halloween event is making a comeback. In addition, November will also see the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The release of the new installation to the main Call of Duty franchise will also have its effects on CODM as well. For instance, Frank Woods – a character from Black Ops Cold War – will be released on the mobile game as an epic character.

As the Halloween event returns, rumors also suggest that other subsidiary events will make a comeback. Zombies mode was taken out of CODM after Season 4 because the developers noticed that players were not playing the mode which made it a failure upon release.

With Black Ops currently being developed by Treyarch and zombies making a return to Call of Duty, players might encounter these brain eaters during CODM’s eleventh season.

New perks

There will also be new perks to be introduced next season such as:

    • Overkill – allows players to carry two primary weapons rather than a secondary weapon
    • Restock – restores an extra Combat Axe and equipment recharges every 20 seconds

New weapons

A new weapon called 48 Dredge LMG has been discovered by data miners and is confirmed to come to the game at a later date. The M249 LMG is also rumored to make its way to CODM soon.

Other leaks

A YouTube video uploaded a few hours ago also revealed a few new characters will be coming to the game as confirmed on data mined files. A few of these characters are related to Black Ops Cold War which will be released on the same timeframe as CODM Season 11. These characters are:

    • Alex Mason
    • Grigori Weaver
    • Dimitri Petrenko
    • Bruce Harris

The current season’s battle pass still has 25 days left. This means players can expect the anniversary season to kick off in early October.

Cyberpunk 2077 will contain nudity, drugs, and adult-oriented content

Cyberpunk 2077 has been given a “Mature” rating after a series of information was announced regarding the game’s adult-designed content.

CD Projekt Red, the game’s developer, submitted Cyberpunk 2077 for worldwide classification ratings and as a result, the upcoming sci-fi action-adventure game masterpiece received an 18+ grade from an official agency from Brazil and even revealed the reason why.

The leaked listing was quickly removed from the Classificacao Indicativa website but not before an avid fan could upload all the intriguing details on the internet. Fans now know that Cyberpunk 2077 will contain scenes that show prostitution, suicide, nudity, blood, sexual pleasure, intentional deaths, mutilation, and more.

Leaks also revealed that the game is extremely adult-oriented and is definitely not for young players. In a calm and collected response, the developers replied to tweets saying that fans shouldn’t be surprised because they don’t “f**k around.” No matter where we look at it, this is one tough way to confirm a leak.

CD Projekt Red has a great history of managing adult themes cordially such as their previous critically acclaimed game Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which featured numerous nude content and excessive bloodbaths. The game was incredibly well done and the mature content never felt that it was placed there to get reactions from its players.

Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on September 17 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and the PC.

Sony confirms PlayStation 5 can’t play PS1, PS2, PS3 games

0
maxresdefault-16-2

Sony has confirmed what most fans have been speculating about the PlayStation 5’s backwards compatibility with older PlayStation consoles.

Sony revealed that the PlayStation 5 won’t have backwards compatibility support for PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. PlayStation head Jim Ryan announced in an interview that Sony’s next-gen console has advance capabilities which are designed to cater next-generation games.

Jim Ryan stated in the interview that:

“We have been building devices with a focus on PS5-specific engineering. “Among them, PS4 already has 100 million players, so I thought that I would like to play PS4 titles on PS5 as well, so I introduced PS4 compatibility. While achieving that, we focused on incorporating high-speed SSDs and the new controller DualSense in parallel. So, unfortunately, compatibility with them has not been achieved.”

The PlayStation 5 will be able to play PlayStation 4 games but this is the only extent of the next-gen console’s backwards compatibility. Obviously, players upgrading from the PlayStation 4 to a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition won’t be able to play their physical games.

Sony said that they have tested the best PS4 games on the PlayStation 5 which lead fans to believe that the next-gen console will not provide native support as the Xbox Series X will do with the Xbox One. However, Sony later explained that 99% of PS4 games will work on the PlayStation 5.

Even though Jim Ryan’s announcements are frustrating, they are not totally shocking. Sony never hinted that the PlayStation 5’s backwards compatibility will work beyond the PS4 at any point during the official reveal of the next-gen console.

The PlayStation head himself was confused why players would want to play those old games when he was asked about classic PlayStation backwards compatibility on the PlayStation 5. While most fans believe that the PlayStation 5 could easily emulate those old games, having official support will need significant testing, engineering, and effort which Sony doesn’t deem necessary.
