Apex Legends Season 7 Leak Showcases New Weapon and Character Skins

Apex Legends players have been on the constant lookout for new updates on Twitter recently, and this is most likely because reliable dataminers such as Shrugtal and Biast12 have been on the roll lately when it comes to releasing new details about the game.

Their most recent discovery was about Apex Legends’ new Halloween skins. This time around, it appears that they were able to uncover new details regarding Season 7 after going through the game’s data once more.

As always, the dataminers shared their new findings on Twitter, which they believe will be content featured in the upcoming season. The items they’ve discovered were each tagged as “Ascension,” causing many players to theorize that this will be Season 7’s subtitle.

As for the new leaks, Shrugtal posted screenshots showing new weapon skins for the Hemlok and Longbow. That said, the dataminer speculates that these two skins will be made available to players on the Battle Pass.

As you can see, the Hemlock’s color palette is bright purple and green, while on the other hand, the Longbow is sporting a more turquoise design with patterns that look like spiderwebs.

Then, Shrugtal proceeded to reveal a new Rare skin for Wraith, which they also believe will be included in the Battle Pass as well. The new skin, which comes in dark purple and has white and gold accents, gives Wraith an almost regal look.

Biast12, on the other hand, has been providing fans on Twitter with other findings outside of weapon and character skins. More specifically, the dataminer was able to find that new weapon charms will be making its way to Apex Legends.

The charms in question are of creatures you’ll find in the game, more specifically the Leviathan and the Prowler. However, these charms have turned the beasts into adorable origami and there are even different variations you can pick from. You’ll find a sample of the Leviathan charm below:

Shrugtal and Biast12 are two of the most reliable Apex Legends dataminers, and they have both been busy rifling through the game’s data ever since the Aftermarket event and crossplay update were released.

Because of these two, players have gathered a lot of new information regarding upcoming content, one example being the Shadow Royale LTM for Halloween. That being said, their biggest discovery so far is most probably the upcoming character called Horizon.

According to Dexerto, new files regarding Overwatch 2 have been discovered and these files imply that there is a playable version of the game. That said, there’s not a lot to go here because there’s not a lot of information as well.

Fans are waiting for Blizzard to announce an official release date, but since details are scarce right now, they assume that the game will be released some time in 2021. As for the new files that were recently discovered, these can be viewed via the Battle.net Launcher, which is what one would usually use to play Blizzard games such as World of Warcraft.

The files, which have been named as “prov2,” use labels that haven’t been seen on Overwatch files before. We speculate that “prov2” is basically “ov2” but with a prefix.

It appears that the company didn’t want people to assume that she was affiliated with them in any way, especially since Nintendo has a family-friendly image to uphold and pokeprincxss is a part of the adult entertainment industry.

Pokeprincxss then proceeded to hire a lawyer who assisted her in the entire process, from fixing the issue with Nintendo as well as in rebranding. A couple of fans asked her why she didn’t just change the spelling of her brand to something similar like “poki,” however she states that she didn’t want to be in any more legal trouble with the company.

According to Bravely Default 2’s official Twitter account, more information about the upcoming RPG will be revealed soon. Square Enix has been silent about the title for the past couple of months, but the upcoming news update might reveal when the game will be released.

In fact, the last major update we received about it was from March when the Switch eShop released a demo for the game.

Despite its name, Bravely Default 2 is actually going to be the third main installment in the series. The first game, Bravely Default, as well as its direct sequel, Bravely Second: End Layer, both take place in the same universe, Luxendarc.

Respawn Reveals Potential Changes to Apex Legends’ Loba

As of now, Apex Legends is halfway through Season 6, which is why many of the fans are wondering what Respawn Entertainment has in mind to shake things up with the current legends.

This sixth season eason was when Rampart was introduced to the game, but players are noticing that Season 5’s legend is being left out and forgotten. Loba from Apex Legends Season 5 appeared to be a wonderful addition to the meta with her teleportation skills and looting abilities.

However, the downside is that she has some pretty crippling weaknesses, so much so that she’s currently on the bottom tier if you compare the different legends and their character strengths.

When Season 6 was launched, many fans were requesting for a Loba buff, which was, in fact, given to them. However, it seems that this was not enough.

In Season 6, Loba’s Black Market Boutique ultimate received a buff, reducing its cooldown time from the original three minutes to ninety seconds. This meant that Loba and her team were able to loot more often.

However, the downside to this is the fact that her ultimate, the Black Market Boutique, is a kind of ability that would let the enemies know where her position is. Before she received the buff, developer Daniel Klein talked about boosting her looting powers by possibly increasing the number of looted items from two to three or ever four.

Previously, Klein explained why giving Loba a major buff would not be a logical move. For one thing, he says that if they implement the potential buffs for Loba, many of these would alter the gunfighting so much that it would no longer be the same Apex Legends game fans know and love.

In a response to a Reddit thread talking about the patch notes, Klein says “the main reason we can’t just bring everyone up to Lifeline/Wraith/Pathfinder’s level is that we’re then stepping away from making a gun game and approaching making a character game.”

He used Overwatch as a reference, saying that it’s a great example of a character game. However, that’s not the kind of game the studio wants Apex Legends to be. Even though it can’t be denied that the character abilities in Apex Legends play a huge role, it’s still a shooter title that focuses more on guns and the like.

Among other things, Klein also discusses the reasons why it would be a problem to either eliminate Loba’s weaknesses or increase her capabilities.

We can see now that the devs really do want to make some positive changes to Loba’s character, but it’s just too complex given the fragility of her abilities’ balance. The developer also shared a few potential ideas for Loba, but it might take a while before any improvements get implemented since they would still need to test it.

For now, it’s good to at least know that the team over at Respawn Entertainment is brainstorming ideas about the possible ways Loba can be used in the sixth season and how they can improve her.

Newest Pokemon Go Update Adds Deerling and Sawsbuck

Pokemon Go welcomes the fall season with a new update that features tasks, rewards, and encounters that have an autumn theme. In addition, Pokemon Trainers will now be able to find and capture Deerling and Sawsbuck, two of the new Pokemon you’ll find this season.

The event will begin on October 9, 8 AM PDT, and will run until October 12, 1 PM (PDT), so don’t forget to mark your calendars for this special occasion. The fun won’t be ending there, though.

In Niantic’s Autumn event announcement, it mentions that changes have been made to egg hatches and that there will be other, exciting changes starting from October 12 to October 19 as well. This makes sense given the fact that players are given until October 19 if they want to do and finish the autumn Timed Research.

As mentioned, the highlight of this Autumn event will be Deerling and Sawsbuck, two Pokemon that are known to blend with the seasons. Meaning, their appearance and scent changes depending on what season it is.

Since they will be making an appearance this time of the year, then it makes sense that they would appear in their Autumn Form. However, you can expect the different seasonal variants to eventually show themselves.

The event will also feature berries since it coincides with the fall harvest. Your Pokemon Go character will be able to take advantage of not only extra berry effectiveness but spinning at a PokeStop or Gym will give you additional berries.

Pinap Berries will provide you with double candy, while if you offer berries as a treat, these will be twice as effective. Not only that, but berry-themed Field Research will also be a thing this season.

You will also have a chance to encounter other “Autumn-themed” Pokemon like Yanma, Pineco, Plant Cloak Burmy, and Foongus, along with the evasive Shiny Vulpix. As a matter of fact, these Pokemon will be showing themselves more frequently.

Although, it’s worth noting that this doesn’t apply to the Shiny Vulpix. It won’t be showing itself more frequently in the wild, but it will simply be appearing. The Alolan Vulpix may have been appearing as a Shiny Pokemon for quite some time now, but the Shiny Kantonian Vulpix will only be appearing in Pokemon Go once this upcoming event starts.

Last but not least, the Pokemon that hatch out of 5 km eggs will be Autumn-themed as well. Not only that, but you can take advantage of the 1/4 hatch distance at least until the event ends.

The improved hatch distance is especially notable because it wasn’t mentioned in Niantic’s event announcement. We hope that this boost will stay for the entirety of the event, especially since Pokemon Go will be removing some of the bonuses implemented due to COVID-19.

Release Date for The Outer Worlds Steam Version Revealed

The Outer Worlds, released only for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Epic Game Store last year, was one of the biggest RPGs in 2019. The sci-fi title was considered to be a spiritual successor to what Obsidian Entertainment has done on Fallout: New Vegas.

What’s so great about The Outer Worlds is the fact that players are in control of their own destiny, as they had the power to make choices that could affect what happens in the game’s story and world.

That being said, the absence of the game on Steam was quite palpable though understandable, given the fact that Obsidian’s partnership with Epic Games meant that the game wouldn’t be released on Steam for at least the first year.

Since the title’s first anniversary is now fast approaching, The Outer Worlds is now finally set to release on one of the most popular storefronts this October 23.

We wouldn’t be surprised if there are still players out there who are waiting for the Steam release, especially since there was previously a controversy over the fact that the title was exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

However, the Steam page for the game doesn’t really give a lot of information. For one thing, the page doesn’t specifically mention how much The Outer Worlds is going to be. In addition to that, we don’t know if the most recent DLC for the title, Peril on Gorgon, will be up for sale on the storefront on day one.

For those who don’t know what The Outer Worlds is about, the action role-playing game is all about a fictional colony of planets ruled by megacorporations that oppress the citizens and mandate them to live a life of constant commercials and propaganda.

You, the player, will be playing as a colonist who just woke up from cryosleep. You are then tasked to take on a dangerous journey going from planet to planet in order to save the galaxy.

Signature to Obsidian, fans loved the fact that the RPG has a witty sense of humor. Plus, it’s a bonus that the game allows you to freely do whatever you want to do – it’s your story to tell. If you wanted to, you could kill every single character, choose to side with the antagonists, and experience different endings.

In other words, there’s so much to do and see in The Outer Worlds that it would probably take you a while to experience it all.

When it was initially released, The Outer Worlds was able to receive an 85 on Metacritic. Many critics agreed that Obsidian Entertainment was able to take the well-received elements of Fallout: New Vegas and then improved it and made it even better.

Recently, the developers worked hard to release a new DLC called Peril on Gorgon, which contains a sizeable amount of brand-new content such as new locations, quests, and even enemies.

Just like the base game, a majority of the fans loved the DLC and wanted to see more of its well-loved characters and humorous writing.
